This is so good! I can tell there went a lot of hard work into this video. The camera movement, spaceship animation and the overall sound design is what really sells this piece. It felt very natural to me, even though these are the things most 3D animators struggle with. The only things that need some improvements are lighting and color grading. They really improve the overall look of a film. Keep making things like this! You are a true VFX artist :)

Very good! I thought the SDs were a little blandly rendered- simplified visuals, but they seemed to improve through the film. Your visuals on the fighters of both sides were, though, quite excellent, and so was your integration of the audio effects with the visuals. Very good indeed. I've been seeing a lot of these pop up now- this is among the best so far.

This is a shitload of work, amazing bro! As someone who made a couple of videos using blender I know the amount of work this represents
We must have gotten lost when we went into hyperspace. I knew something was wrong when we later came out of warp. Then the ordinance depot we came upon said "United Federation of Planets," and the personell could not stop gawking at our ships. We filled up with Photon torpedoes, which I figured was just a typo on the shipping case. Photon, Proton; tomato, tomatoe. Either way, they worked - and worked WELL! Hell, we took out a star destroyer with one volley! I am definitely getting more of those, if I can ever figure out how to get back there... One more thing baffled me. They kept asking if we needed our "phaser frequency" adjusted, because "the Borg." What am I missing?

Awesome! It definitely felt like this scene could of been in a movie or video game. I cannot wait to see where else you go with all of this. That being said, I feel like your Star Destroyers were a little bright? Maybe darken their gray a bit? Also Star Destroyers are known for having all sorts of canons and turrets, yet I do not think a single one was fired all battle. 72 Tie Fighters per SD would be hard to render I'm sure (and get messy), but I would recommend at least having your squads of Tie Fighters in groups of four, not two. Attacking two ISDs with five X-Wings and 5 Y-Wings. Whst drugs were they on? I wouldn't even consoder attacking even ONE ISD without at least a dozen B-Wings. Since B-Wings didn't exist yet, if I were an Alliance tactician and only had fighters to use, , the biggest ship I'd go after would be the Arquitens-class light cruiser. I'd try to capture some and use them, in turn, to capture some Nebulon-B frigates. Even with Nebulons, I STILL wouldn't dare face an ISD in a pitched battle without B-Wings but I might go after a Victory-class destroyer.
@vladyslavkostyuk63322 жыл бұрын
Nebulons would get wrecked by any ISD unless its like 10 to 1. Really the amount of casualties from taking on an ISD would be horrendous. A few fights like that an the rebellion would be over lol. But an ISD can only be on one place at a time....

Welp, that was frelling stupid. Sending just TWO SQNs to take on a pair of ISDs. Apparently Rebel Intel somehow knew that both ISDs were completely out of tabanna gas and couldn't shoot back. Oh, and their Command team were all on the planet, the Engineering Dept were all sleeping off a major party and Astros were fighting off a panty raid assault by the Storm Trooper detachment. That might explain what we just saw. The Trumpian levels of random capitalisation, however, is somewhat more difficult to justify.

You're doing beautifully. My only problem is the way ships seem to be continually tethered to one another, like they can't move independent of their fighter wings. Right now, it's like the days of Rogue Squadron where you and your two wingmen shot down groups of four TIEs that all had to follow specific scripting. You can do it, I know this, get us crazy ass dogfights with dozens of ships.

So I'm not actually on my Main Channel Right now while commenting but I Am Directing and Creating a Live action Battletech movie. And I am using alot of my Green screen techniques along side Shooting footage on locations I chose that are scenic Backdrops Almost. Or Wide open Crop fields . Forests. And Im saying this because I Definitely am really Pushing it with How much I'm able to do with me not ever going to film school or learning how to. Work with Editing and special effects. Just something I have been doing since I can remember. Even a kid with a big bulky camera in my hand. Sorry for rambling... My main reason for commenting was that I saw you used blender to design those ships yourself which I have skills within editing green screening designing Scenes for a movie and As well as Cinematic Imagery etc. But I am not good at 3d design. I have blender on my desktop but haven't used it in years because I was impatient and I couldn't even tell ya how to make a square house with a roof windows and a door if I tried. But.its something that would be amazing to know and would help out with my future work. Same goes for after effects I'm not a big fan of adobe but I know that's a really good program although I use hitfilm and filmora 9 both of them to do all my work but Adobe and some of the other top programs make things much easier and give you options that will make your movie look amazing instead of having to hand do something with the tool and editing that takes you three and a half hours when there's a button for it that automatically does it and after effects probably. Rotoscoping. Putting Animated Things into the Base Shot that's shaky or Just all over the place or even panning. It's technically called rotoscoping or Motion tracking.which I need to get better at. Impressive though that you designed all that The main reason I bought Blender Was so I could learn how to design star ships and fighters and Frigates destroyers etc.

Pretty good. The only thing I want to point out is that the 2 ISD at Mustafar seem to be Imperial 2 while the 3 that jump in look to be Imperial 1. You can tell by the height of the antenna between the shield generators. Imp 1 has taller antenna. If this is in between say episode 3 and 4 or between Rogue One and episode 4 then the Imp 2 hadn't yet been deployed. Otherwise, not too bad.
