J.. Sobieski is my kind of leader! The kind of Catholic man and leader we need today in the Public Square and in the defense of "God's cause" and His Holy and Apostolic Church! What a fascinating story! Many thanks to this wonderful channel.

Great video! Every Pole knows that, but we're grateful that there are people who spread this message, because the role of Polish forces in the battle of Vienna had been for a long time depreciated. Especially after partitions of Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. Polonia Antemurale Christianitatis!

January 15, 2018 Gospel reading and reflection of the saint read and share... First Reading 1 Samuel 15:16-23 Samuel said to Saul: "Stop! Let me tell you what the LORD said to me last night." Saul replied, "Speak!" Samuel then said: "Though little in your own esteem, are you not leader of the tribes of Israel? The LORD anointed you king of Israel and sent you on a mission, saying, 'Go and put the sinful Amalekites under a ban of destruction. Fight against them until you have exterminated them.' Why then have you disobeyed the LORD? You have pounced on the spoil, thus displeasing the LORD." Saul answered Samuel: "I did indeed obey the LORD and fulfill the mission on which the LORD sent me. I have brought back Agag, and I have destroyed Amalek under the ban. But from the spoil the men took sheep and oxen, the best of what had been banned, to sacrifice to the LORD their God in Gilgal." But Samuel said: "Does the LORD so delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as in obedience to the command of the LORD? Obedience is better than sacrifice, and submission than the fat of rams. For a sin like divination is rebellion, and presumption is the crime of idolatry. Because you have rejected the command of the LORD, he, too, has rejected you as ruler." Responsorial Psalm 50:8-9, 16BC-17, 21 AND 23 R. (23b) To the upright I will show the saving power of God. "Not for your sacrifices do I rebuke you, for your burnt offerings are before me always. I take from your house no bullock, no goats out of your fold." R. To the upright I will show the saving power of God. "Why do you recite my statutes, and profess my covenant with your mouth, Though you hate discipline and cast my words behind you?" R. To the upright I will show the saving power of God. "When you do these things, shall I be deaf to it? Or do you think that I am like yourself? I will correct you by drawing them up before your eyes. He that offers praise as a sacrifice glorifies me; and to him that goes the right way I will show the salvation of God." R. To the upright I will show the saving power of God. Alleluia HB 4:12 R. Alleluia, alleluia. The word of God is living and effective, able to discern reflections and thoughts of the heart. R. Alleluia, alleluia. Gospel reading Mark 2:18-22 The disciples of John and of the Pharisees were accustomed to fast. People came to Jesus and objected, "Why do the disciples of John and the disciples of the Pharisees fast, but your disciples do not fast?" Jesus answered them, "Can the wedding guests fast while the bridegroom is with them? As long as they have the bridegroom with them they cannot fast. But the days will come when the bridegroom is taken away from them, and then they will fast on that day. No one sews a piece of unshrunken cloth on an old cloak. If he does, its fullness pulls away, the new from the old, and the tear gets worse. Likewise, no one pours new wine into old wineskins. Otherwise, the wine will burst the skins, and both the wine and the skins are ruined. Rather, new wine is poured into fresh wineskins." Gospel reflection , Jan 15 Monday: Mark 2:18-22 The context: Today’s Gospel passage gives Jesus’ reply to the question (raised, perhaps by some Pharisees), of why Jesus’ disciples ate and drank, while they (John the Baptist’s disciples), and the Pharisees fasted and prayed. Prayer, fasting and almsgiving were three cardinal works of Jewish religious life. Jesus’ reply: Jesus responded to their sincere question using three metaphors: the metaphor of the “children of the bridal chamber,” the metaphor of patching torn cloth and the metaphor of wineskins. First, Jesus compared his disciples with the children of the bridal chamber. These were the selected friends of the bride and groom who feasted in the company of the bride and groom during a week of honeymoon. Nobody expected them to fast. Jesus assured the questioners that his disciples would fast when he, the Bridegroom, was taken away from them. In the same way, we are to welcome both the joys of Christian life and the crosses it offers us. But Joy is the chief characteristic of a Christian - joy even in tribulation. Using the comparisons of the danger of using new, unshrunken cloth to make a patch for an old garment, or old wineskins to store new, still-fermenting wine, Jesus told the questioners that they must have more elastic and open minds and larger hearts to understand and follow his new ideas which were, in many cases, different from the traditional Jewish teachings. Life message: 1) We need to be adjustable Christians with open and elastic minds and hearts. The Holy Spirit, working actively in the Church and guiding the teaching authority in the Church, enables the Church to put into practice new visions, new ideas, new adaptations and new ways of worship in place of old ones. So we should have the generosity and good will to follow the teachings of the Church. At the same time we need the Old Testament revelations, the New Testament teachings and the Sacred Tradition of the Church as main sources of our Christian faith. January 15.-St. Paul, the first hermit ST. PAUL was born in Upper Egypt, about the year 230, and became an orphan at the age of fifteen, being very rich and highly educated. Fearing lest the tortures of a terrible persecution might endanger his perseverance, he retired into a remote village. But his pagan brother-in-law denounced him, and St. Paul, rather than remain where his faith was in danger, entered the barren desert, trusting that God would supply his wants. And his confidence was rewarded; for in the spot to which Providence led him he found the fruit of the palm-tree for food, and its leaves for clothing, and the water of the spring for drink. His first design was to return to the world when the persecution was over, but tasting great delights in prayer and penance, he remained the rest of his life, ninety years, in penance, prayer, and contemplation. God revealed his existence to St. Antony, who sought him for three days. Seeing a thirsty she-wolf run through an opening in the rocks, Antony followed her to look for water, and found Paul. They knew each other at once, and praised God together. When St. Antony visited him, a raven brought him a loaf, and St. Paul said, “See how good God is! For sixty years this bird has brought me half a loaf every day; now thou art come, Christ has doubled the provision for His servants.” Having passed the night in prayer, at dawn of day Paul told Antony he was about to die, and asked to be buried in the cloak given to Antony by St. Athanasius. Antony hastened to fetch it, and on his way back saw Paul rise to heaven in glory. He found his dead body kneeling as if in prayer, and two lions came and dug his grave. Paul died in his one hundred and thirteenth year. Reflection.-We shall never repent of having trusted in God, for he cannot fail those who lean on him; nor shall we ever trust in ourselves without being deceived. Gate of Heaven🕎🙏🏻©

+FabulaM24 [GER] And unless you believe in the one true God who resides within the Most Holy Catholic Church you will die, because now as was warned a century ago we are receiving a chastisement from The True God for our unbelief in Him. You who call yourself an atheist are a product of what some in the west have been trying to do for centuries, destroy the Christian faith. We've been trained to think that we, or our science are our own gods, and that it is somehow liberating to live without Him who pulled himself up on a cross so that He could rise again and reign in His Heavenly Kingdom where He has become our gateway to eternal salvation. There is nothing more blind than the people in the west thinking that either the Romans, or Jews killed the weak Christ on that cross, when in reality they could do nothing to Him than what He willed. Unless you have Him, who provides the Bread of Life within you, you are already dead, and no better than the muslim. He will give you no more favor than your enemy, and truth be told the situation is about to get even worse for you! Your arrogance, and your sins make you blind! If you truly want to save your Europe get on your knees and pray! Find the Truly powerful, and heroic Christ who died on that cross for your salvation. He's always waiting right there for you to do just that. When you sincerely desire Him, He will answer your prayers. I pray your not too late.

The battle at vienna, s.c. Kahlenberg was fought by 24.000 men from poland , Lithauen etc. and from 50.000 from german landers. The battle plan was from prince charles Duke of Lorraine. The first big counter attack was launched on the 12.09.1683 by the germans under commend of graf v. Waldenburg. This counter attack made the cavallry attack happened.
