@catholicculturepod It is lacking a lot of detail and most of the specific words found in the original text. perhaps your source simplified the document so that it was more understandable in the modern day? I would look into the text Early Christian Lives published by Penguin Classics. It holds the Life of Anthony, Life of Paul, Life of Hilarion, Life of Malchus, Life of Martin of Tours, and the Life of Benedict as well as some supplements to help with understanding.
