@camuf1340 Fury didn't get robbed in their first fight lol, Fury got knocked down, and then he got knocked out. Just because Fury got off the canvas within the 10 count, this doesn't change the fact that he got punched unconscious before then, becoming obviously unconscious means he was supposed to be given the KO loss. Also the count was an absurdly long 10 count which is illegal btw, when anyone of us count to 10, we try to replicate 10 seconds on a clock for a reason, so yes a 10 count is supposed to be done close to 10 seconds. In the second fight Wilders water was in fact drugged, you can go check the official fight footage if you want, Fury's water is clear and shiny like it's supposed to be under bright lights, but Wilders water is ''somehow'' cloudy like something has been added to it. In the third fight Fury grappled for 75% of the fight, this is a clear violation of the excessive clinch rule which is an official Marcus of Queensbury rule, so again Fury should of been given a loss. Regardless of how things have gone, Fury has essentially lost to Wilder 3 times already, this is why Wilder is still in good spirits even though people expected Wilder to be depressed lol. So yeah Fury is so much worse then Wilder at boxing, and no amount of mental gymnastics from you people is going to change that :P

One of the issues with being an extremely dominant physical fighter with excellent power in his fists is that they don't get enough experience fighting on their back foot because nobody can challenge them enough, or pressure them enough to keep them from moving forward constantly. It isn't until an extremely skilled boxer with a good chin meets them in the ring that they finally get some experience with moving backward without purely being defensive. If Wilder learned how to consistently fight moving backward, he would be even scarier as a fighter, but learning techniques in the gym, and actually pulling it off in the ring are two different things. I think if Wilder had lost earlier in his career against a top level boxer/puncher, he might have improved that aspect of his skillset a little bit more. He certainly showed that he is very much capable of doing pretty much anything in the ring physically, it's just about experience in doing those things.

I would add to that this happens because 1: most fighters who rely on one aspect of boxing(toughness,power,speed etc) get complacent and don’t drill fundamentals and it cost them later on in their careers. 2: they ALWAYS try to win in sparring they don’t work on being pressured and fighting backwards, being the pressure fighter and fighting forward, swarming, counter punching etc… they associate their ego with their “style” and put a self limiting nerf on themselves when they can be much more than a right hand or a left hook or a bull.

Both fighters had their best tools taken away from them. Wilder his right, Fury his jab. This fight really came down to ring IQ and determination.

This fight is unbelievable. I don’t like Wilder at all, but the fact that he survived as long as he did whilst being completely compromised on all fronts is ridiculous. I don’t think a single other heavyweight in history could have taken all of those punches and Fury’s dirty boxing + weight for all that time. It’s easy to underestimate how brutal getting laid on by a dude as huge as Fury is for a couple seconds, let alone minutes. I was privileged to grow up in the Ali vs Frazier era and while I don't think this fight matched any in that all-time trilogy in terms of skill, in terms of stylistic matchup, momentum shifts, all-out action, pure drama and non-stop heart from both warriors, this great, great grudge match was an absolute equal to any heavyweight throwdown ever. Both fighters gave it all they had. This last fight is badass class act! Fight of The Year for 2021. Surprised it lasted as long as it did. Fury took some big shots from Wilder and somehow just outfought him. Looking at their physiques, you'd assume Wilder would be in better shape but he was running on fumes by the 7th round. Great analysis as usual. The wilder knock downs seem to come from Fury abandoning his gameplan and looking for the early knock out. As soon as Fury stuck to his plan, Wilder had no chance. A slow, methodical mauling is still a mauling. Round 8 onwards was just the plan coming to fruition, hearing blow after heavy blow land on wilder, it's just awesome. I love the way Fury fights, up close and dirty or jab and move, not afraid to take a hit in order to give a heavier one back. Respect to Wilder for becoming a willing human punchbag but he was totally outclassed here.

Say what you want about Wilder, but he put nearly 40 guys out of action in just at many fights with that right hand, before facing off with a guy who could actually get up from that punch and keep fighting back. Fury has certainly not endeared himself to fans since with his recent antics, but most "fans" tend to have a short memory. He took punches from Wilder that would have dropped 99.99% of men on this planet, got up and returned fire. No matter what you think of him personally, the man is an absolute beast in that square ring.

As a big Wilder fan, this fight both made me so sad and so proud, dare I say happy, at the same time. Sad obviously because my guy got destroyed by the one guy he really did not wanted to lose to again, but also proud because it wasn't a one sided beating, Fury had to eat punches and throw them back harder than ever before in his career. I think most of the world of boxing was ready to consider Wilder as an afterthought after a second loss to Fury, but after the way that trilogy fight went out, everybody went to bed that night having some sort of respect for that man.

true, he lost alot of respect from me over the second fight and his antics, but he showed more heart in that final trilogy than i've ever seen in a match before, and he certainly didn't get completely dominated like i expected either, he had multiple almost win-moments, easily the best boxing match i've ever witnessed.

Wilder put in the work and became a very good boxer, he just got outclassed and outmatched

Fury couldn't take Wilder's punches... So he smothered away his stamina so he couldn't punch anymore. Wilder put forth a great effort, but he just lacked the fight IQ to keep up with Fury. It was still a great callback to the golden age of boxing, and both men put forth their effort. Great fight, and genius analysis.

Fury took Wilder's punches many times... are you blind? and Fury didn't smother nothing, Wilder just has a bad defence and bad footwork, he was knocked down as early as the third round in the second and third fight, literally after a few minutes of fighting, it's just more excuses, Fury is just the better fighter, plain and simple, we didnt hear these excuses when Wilder was knocking out 400lb bin men...

I assume we we're watching the same analysis, was to wrestle Wilder's stamina away until he got tired. No shade on Fury; if it worked it worked. He couldn't keep taking those punches, so he found a way around it. Wilder wasnt even fighting back anymore in the last round because he was exhausted because Fury was putting close to 300 lbs on him. It is what it is. Wilder couldn't box; he's just a more professional Kimbo Slice. He met someone who could box, and who had the chin to withstand enough until he figured out a strategy. I'll give Wilder credit for fighting smarter this time, but he couldn't adapt. Now we just need your boy to stop dodging Usyk so we can end this weird cycle of heavyweights.

It’s not about Usyk stopping him. Its about Usyk taking advantage of Fury’s slow feet and deteriorating defense. Even Fury’s uncle said Usyk will be Fury’s toughest fight to date. Tyson Fury could very well be outboxed by Usyk. Unless Fury puts in a helluva camp and gets back to using his feet as well as his head movement.

But he still moves like a Cruiserweight. Usyk gets hit often as well. He probably has a better engine than Fury so his output will be higher than anyone he fights. But to say Fury is slow is crazy

Fury knows this as well which is why he switched styles after the first Wilder fight in which he was almost KOd because of slower feet and reflexes. Then Otto Wallin gave him hell because of being a southpaw and AGAIN because of Fury’s slowed feet. After he realized he can’t dance away as fast anymore he switched styles. No more dancing away no more relying on foot speed reflexes. Fight coming forward , use your weight, mix in the defense when needed but no more fast feet Fury.

The heavyweight division hasn’t had a fight like this since or since Klitchko and Joshua went at it. Now it’s gotten a lot softer but hopefully Wilder and Ruiz or Wilder and Joshua give us that feel. Ironically Wilder is apart of the best fights in the division right now.

Switch hitting. Those who can do it very well are always going to be the bane of everyone else in their division. And Fury does it naturally, and on the fly, in to the right angles. His rear power hand in one stance becomes a lead power hand the next second, and then back. Its RARE to see such a big man use old school techniques like parrying with the shoulders too, but he does it all day. Great chin, great gut (if big), great legs, strong power either hand lead or follow. Well schooled techniques either side. And he can feint you right out of your boots. People rag in Wilder for being some bum. But he ruled his division with a literal iron fist for years. It took a truly elite, special fighter to solidly dethrone him. He just had no answers with stiff power jabs hitting him from both sides. He always depended on the 1-2-3. And his 1 was never really all that good. His 2 was a nuk, until he ran in to a mountain of a chin. And his 3 was always an afterthought. And yet it was enough for a long time.

Wilder learned new tricks but knocking Fury down twice pretty much emptied his gas tank. He was running on fumes for the rest of the fight after that.

I know it's hard for some punchers but I wish punchers like Wilder focused on body shots more. A lot of times, guys with decent chins can take the punch and their defense is predicated on defending head shots because they know their opponent will be primarily head hunting. Shifting to body punching forces them to guess on defense and can set up head shots. Wilder was never much of a body puncher so when Fury was hurt, he knew how to construct his defense and even when he was hurt, Fury knew Wilder wouldn't be going to the body so he could limit the damage.
