So many realisations got from this lecture and the analogies are perfect to understand. I used to think that if I'm desiring something and Krishna is fulfilling that means my desire is correct that's why Krishna is sanctioning it. But in reality the lord sitting in my heart is so merciful that he just sanctions whatever I desire and even after realising the potential consequences of it...we ask the Lord again and again to fulfill them. This point hit me the most.

Brilliant, I learnt a lot. But I have few questions. 1. Did Karna get more reaction for not accepting Lord Krishna's advice? 2. In Ramayan, Vibishan surrendered to Lord Rama and helped to wage war against Ravana. But still is considered a traitor. On the contrary, Meghnad and Kumbhakaran argued to follow Ravana despite knowing he was wrong. What is the right perspective to understand this situation?

Hare Krishna prabhu If Karna is sugreeva, in his previous life, then sugreeva did devotional service to Lord Rama. Because of his devotional service why he was not liberated. Even in his life as a karna, did he get impersonal liberation? Please clarify Prabhu Your servant

Hare Krishna Prabhu, my humble obeisances. Thanks for the class. Some errors are there I think. Aren't Arjuna and Karna the sons of Indra and Surya and not their direct incarnations? Also as per the Valmiki Ramayana, Lord Rama Himself said He would kill Vali after Sugriva surrendered to Him. Vali also questioned Rama's actions and Rama gave him suitable replies which satisfied him. ChatGPT also says that according to Madhvacharya's Mahabharata Tatparya Nirnaya Karna is not the reincarnation of Surya. Those points seem to be mistaken, the rest I get about following God but those statements regarding Surya and Indra seem to be mistaken, Prabhu. Could you kindly check?

But still i see that the Valmiki Ramayana says this about Sugriva, Lord Rama and Vali: करिष्यति स साहाय्यम् युवयोः भास्करात्मजः | सुग्रीवः सह च अस्माभिः सीतायाः परिमार्गणे || ४-४-२८ 28. bhaaskara aatmajaH = Sun god's, son; Sugreeva; saha asmaabhiH = along, with us - vanara forces; siithaayaaH = of Seetha's; parimaargaNe = searching; youvayoH kariSyati sa sahaayyam = to you two, he will render, help. "He that son of Sun, Sugreeva, will render help to you two, joining forces of our like Vanara-s in searching Seetha..." [4-4-28] Here it says Sugriva is the sun of the sun god, not his incarnation. Also later.. वालिनो मे महाभाग भय आर्तस्य अभयम् कुरु || ४-५-२३ कर्तुम् अर्हसि काकुत्स्थः भयम् मे न भवेद् यथा | 23b, 24a. mahaabhaaga = oh! highly fortunate one Rama; vaalinaH = from Vaali; bhaya aartasya = in fear, intimidated; me = to me; a bhayam kuru = no, fear [fearlessness] give me; kaakutsthaH = Rama; me yathaa bhayam na bhavet = to me, as to how, fear, will not, be there; [tathaa = that way]; kartum arhasi = to do so, apt of you. "Oh, highly fortunate Rama, affirm fearlessness to me from Vali by who I am highly intimidated, and as to how there will be fearlessness to me from him, it will be apt of you to accomplish that, that way...
