The problem with the lack of updates isn't just related to gameplay. Many people will just look at the game and pronounce it dead because of no updates so they won't play, leading to reduced player count. Some gamemodes ATM are outright dead and it's hard to find a server with a lot of players at times

The only way they're coming back is if they make the game free to play. That's not an exaggeration. No one wants to buy a dead game and to many people are already fed up with it. It needs a reputation boost. Making it free to play is a great solution.

Commend? I personally don't commend developers that go nearly a full year without updating their game, only to "tease" weapon model updates on a game thats less than 2 years old. Granted they do look cool, and all the more power to you if you're excited. Battlebit has a lot of unique charm, but I need more effort than this to get me to come back. At some point though, it will be "too little, too late", imo.

I've still been enjoying battlebit lately playing on and off, even without updates it's still a great game but I do hope the devs can get their act together to sustain the playerbase. Turns out scheduling updates for a large game was a more difficult task than they expected I suppose, but if they manage to figure it out I don't see a reason why the game shouldn't get a good few players back.

Considering that the art team is different from the Dev team, as per every game... the point is that the main devs are not sharing ANYTHING. They've been silent since march. So, the community is tired. They have made the money for sure, they have for sure covered the expensives and took some money (as it should be) for them, maybe they even enjoyed a vacation, and there is notghing wrong from with that. But we are almost in december, and they are still silent. No news. No updates. Nothing. Not even a post saying "ehi, we have encountered some big issues with the new update and we are still working on that, sorry". Nothing at all. And it's "sad", but at this point I do not care. They are digging theyre graves deeper and deeper, and it's just disappointing.

If the community management was a bit better, i'd maybe still play this game. But since they banned my account for "selling cheats" for some reason, i had to stop. I even appealed the ban as i assumed that the manual ban was a mistake, but the only thing i ever got back was "check mark emojis" on my messages. This game died in 2023 for me when they failed to have proper management for stuff like this.

I had my Dycky Shine 2 with MX reds at 2011 and it seen a life.. I mean it.. I don't even know alphabets in order but some how i just type things right with it.. But gosh i had mouses like 10 or more and they can't even hold 1-or 2 years to broke at scroll or right click starting doing double clicks.. I hope some day mouses get as better than Keyboards even though they cost almost same as mouses in this day.. Still they fail.. My Ducky tries ot hardest to quit but it some how goes back to life and keeps going and going.. Let alone all stuff it has inside living.. coffee, beer, some spider nests or whole blown Ant civilization 😂 Dosen't really surprise me at all in this point.. Cleaned it maybe 5 years ago at best and used some wd 40 for caps springs.. 😂😂 I bet if i clean it now completely it might be it's last clean😢

So why spend time on cosmetics and skins when the killcam is still bad and basic? The killcam should be showing the player's loadout of weapon and a model of the weapon that person is using as well so more than just you can show off the skin combos.
