@@305thief8 To an extent yes, bleach was definitely filler heavy... but they start off talking about something, and then it goes into a 30 minute rant about chad, orihime, rukia and kenpachi.. talking over the whole show and plot stuff. They've paid such little attention, they didnt even know the whole flashback about the visoreds, didn't recognize lisa, and thought a regular shinigami was Isshin. Just kinda kills the excitement of a reaction video, when they're not even really watching.

Won't lie I found myself at times irritated with Orihime as well although not to the point of hating her. But she's not a fighter and that was already established and explained as to why so I let it slide. Comparing her to Sakura was a bit much. Idc how anyone personally feels about Orihime you cannot say with a straight face that Sakura is more likeable or better written as a character. For that alone I've always put Orihime above Sakura. Also I'm not too sure about Jerry's claims with Kingdom Hearts 🤔 I could be wrong, but I believe that when Kingdom Hearts first came out the anime for Bleach hadn't even been made yet. Bleach anime came out during the mid 2000s and Kingdom Hearts was early 2000s.

Evan, there's a reason Rukia didn't tell everything to Ichigo. Under normal circumstances she would have got her powers back and Ichigo would have lost his spiritual power that he got from Rukia. But that didn't happen did it. She hid information until it's necessary since it's not ideal to give a human information about afterlife is it? Orihime is the best female character in Bleach and Sakura doesn't even hold a candle to her. But I can see why you don't like the anime version of Orihime as Studio Pierrot did everything to ruin her character. They did it with Sakura too TBH.

How the hell is that mangakas fault then? It's better to take your surface level thinking elsewhere especially when Bleach is subjected to a lot more than that. You're the one who assumed she was a damsel in distress when she willfully went with Ulquiorra. Just because she isn't being badass doesn't mean she's a bad character. You're the one who is making assumptions about a character based on a troupe. I didn't even mention anything related to "healers are useful" narrative and you again made that assumption. Orihime is a great example of existentialism and how her past trauma made her out to be the character that she is. It's her existentialism that made an effect on Ulquiorra (Ichigo too had an effect) and how Ulquiorra (someone whose existence is based on nihilism) is able to understand something that's against his own very existence. There's no way Sakura had anything close to that. So take your surface level thinking elsewhere.

The Izuru, Hisagi and Yumichika fights are really good, don't worry. Hisagi has a protagonist level of cool/flashy shikai (no surprise he ends up as the protag during CFYOW), Yumichika finally reveals how he absolutely wrecked Hisagi off screen during the SS arc, and Izuru... Izuru's fights tend to show off a good mix of kido and his creepy zanpakuto while also being kinda morbid/stone cold, I tend to really like them. I'm also just biased because Izuru is best boy

It's called Beginning of the Revive of Tomorrow and it's worth reading if you like his fight here, there are translations freely available online.

If Aizen is a 10/10 strength wise, I'd say Ichigo is currently an 8, and Rukia is a 6. Espadas 9-7 would be 7, I think it'd be better to say that Rukia assassinated an Espada because she didn't "beat" him, since he was sure of his win up until he had a blade in his head.
