The Simpsons, however, have succeeded in that. The Simpsons made you laugh and cry in the same episode all while teaching a very great life lesson. There’s just no comparison.

This song was actually really damn well made. It sounded like the the writers of the Simpsons really wanted to make this song sound good, instead of just plain making fun of the Beatles like any other show would if they made a parody of them. This has to be one of my favorite episodes since it’s chronologically correct based on the Beatles timeline, and it’s very well done. Oh, and the song slaps

Y'know something that never struck me before is that this song is EXACTLY the kind of thing Paul McCartney was writing in the mid/late Beatles period. @@jammy3662 I think the main reason people say it went downhill is because the characters start to get very shallow in the much later seasons
