I proudly say that "Come Go With Me" and "Peggy Sue" are in my top 10 favorite Beach Boys songs. Al Jardine was the perfect voice for these songs.

great review, totally agree about the cover and photos, it stinks as does Winds of Change. But I like MIU defo a case of what could have , kind of the last time Brian turned up on a Beach Boy record till TWGMTR. I've heard a couple of the tracks with much tougher different Brian sounding production and they are much better. I've read a few times that the oldies around the time that were produced by Brian were rougher?different sounding to what we eventually got, the released versions were sort of made smoother. At least half the album could have been a good Brian Wilson Beach Boy record, My Diane somehow sneaked through the net.

Brian kind of turns up for KTSA in 1980 (at least long enough to write 6 songs and arrange the beginning of School Days)

Brian looks really happy too during the KTSA period, making jokes in the little BTS documentary and while they perform the new songs.

I’m a fan of MIU but it’s more curiosity of it being such a flop. I like a lot of the songs, I love Matchpoint but it is a very contrived record as a whole.

A godawful LP i can live without (Along with anything Beach Boys did after their 1985 LP) To me "KTSA" Is a way better album anlong with L.A. Light Album
