That “deep and wide” has always been my favorite part of this song.

I loved this track from 20/20. Carl sings just brilliantly here. Lush harmonies are the icing on the cake!!

The extension or extended ending to this song has as good as harmony as you’ll find in anything The Beach Boys ever did. It is not the four part barbershop Harmony that they employed on their first album or two but a lot more complex like pet sounds, and smile.

Love the waltz pacing of this song, the simple and beautiful lyrics, and the amazing harmonies.

Very nice man. You can really "feel" those verses now.... Bringing the piano in a bit more was a great choice along with the reverb.. Brian's background is finally brought up where that belongs....by the end, I felt like I had heard it for the first time again...was smilin.... You really have an ear for bringing the best out of these tunes..you can't help but get your heart strings tugged at some point....I don't care who you are...it's gonna happen....

I would like to have heard it without the strings, just the vocals, piano, bass, etc.
