Hell they can keep the dimension background, just visually add the actual STUGGLE aspect, to the beam clash, via the camera angles

What controversy?! Its an indefensible mess, it doesn't represent what we see happening in 575 episodes of the Dragon Ball franchise, it's visually tiring, etc.

Nah don’t get me wrong I agree with u, but this is a controversy because it’s a heated discussion, you may be shocked to here this bro but some people don’t mind the way it is, although i totally agree with 100% men it gotta change rq.

@@AlphaDome336 Beam clashes are something that has been evolving in Dragon Ball games, unless I'm mistaken, since 1997 in Dragon Ball GT: Final Bout. And every time this is done well, there is a visual representation of the progress of the colliding forces towards one character or another, depending on who is winning... because that's how Dragon Ball does it. Out of nowhere in 2024 this changes for the WORSE! It's surprising to me that people are okay with this shit

The beam clash gotta be more dynamic. It has to maintain the position of the characters and the angle like how it was in bt3. Even if the whole shatter effect is still there, I wouldn’t mind because that immersion aspect wouldn’t be deteriorated by that forced fixed position cutscene looking beam clash.

@@AlphaDome336 it’s not that I don’t prefer that. I actually do. But I would settle for just maintaining positions and it being dynamic. If they could do it exactly like bt3 that would be perfect.

yeah this beam clash cutscene they got in is not what DB fans want. we’ve gotten the good shi in previous games, no reason for this modern game to cut corners on this vital mechanic.

Up and coming I see much love to you lil bro!!!.. yeah the thing is like I explained on twitter I think that the dimension break should be exclusive to Broly and Gogeta but for everyone else it should show the environment with rocks and debris flying up off of the ground while the beams are moving back and forth to show who’s winning I remember back in BT3 the beams clashes had more flexibility you could clash from different angles you could even beam clash at point blank range!!!

Thanks so much, my guy. Much love to you too. I think that's a brilliant idea. They could even expand on it by supplying unique clashes for specific characters, like they’re doing with the unique grab animations. Plus, the new approach to beam clashes has reduced the flexibility it once had, so hopefully they’ll reconsider.

it absolutely HAS to change it woldve added alot more depth to the game if certain characters were only able to break dimesions people prior to super shouldnt be able to do this it waslazy on they're behalf but i will still buy the game because ive been waiting 17years

To call it lazy is a little too far. Maybe they just thought it would be nice due to what we saw in the Broly movie, as we can see majority of the game’s style is based on the Broly movie. I do agree that not every character should be able to but it’s not that big of a deal overall. Remember when we didn’t have beam clashes for 15 years? Let’s just try not to offend the creators trying to give fans service.

@@johnathonthompson2950 maybe it was a bit much but i was simply stating its lazy because they can easily fix it they need to fix the size of the actual beams as well the ultimates needs to be way thicker (no diddy) gohans father son kamehameha was way too skinn along with vegeta final flash and cells solar kamehameha im gonna buy the game regardless but theres a bunch of little fixes they can add to the game before release

The thing I hate is the stupid camera spinning all over the place, it look ignorant AF. Why not just keep the Camera stationary like the older BT games, even Budokai handled it better than this.

Man... Dragon Ball GT: Final Bout from fucking 1997 had already this mechanic of a visual progression of powers in beam clashes, and it was very well done within the resources of the time.

Y'all have to stop comparing these characters to their anime version. This is a game where krillin could be the best with the tools they give him. How many times are you going to realistically beam clash?!

Ay fair point fair point but don’t forget this game has scaling krillin won’t be able to stagger characters like broly or gogeta so you would thing that there’s scaling in terms of the beam clashes to, idk maybe am asking for tm😂 open to discuss further tho
