This is the best edit I have ever seen. I have NEVER seen an edit of any show or movie, in my entire life, that understood its source material as well as this one. As a huge Radiohead fan, and someone who loves that scene at the end of season 1, it made me incredibly emotional as well. The fact that this video has not massively blown up is CRIMINAL. It honestly is so insane how it doesn't come up enough how out of all people it's Richie who brings people outta darkness a lot. Carmie's brother tried to save their mom while drowning in depression and suic*dal thoughts and couldn't save himself. Then Richie SMACKS Carmie out of it and manages to still save himself in the end he literally brings Carmie and the Bear out of that dark path that Mike went down cause they needed someone like him. Someone who wasn't scared to go under, but could pull himself up and not drown.

I think Richie's greatest virtue is his heart. He has a good heart but he has a dumb mind that controls most of his actions. It is until the end of season 2 when he starts aligning his mind and his actions trough his heart, thus becoming a better man. He started taking responsability and most importanly, he started respecting himself
