I like the discourses offered by Swami Sarvapriyananda! I was a practising Catholic, until I got dissatisfied with their version of religion. I then moved to Gnosticism but did not go far into it. I took off onto Sankhya philosophy,, and ended up watching the Swami in one of his numerous videos. That is when I realized that what I was looking for, is perfectly explained by Advaita Vedanta. Ever since, I have been absorbing, little by little, the Swami's teachings lovingly. I hope I shall keep digging this hole and not move onto another approach to God. Long live, Swami Sarvapriyananda!

Rahul ji! What an amazing episode! I really enjoyed your thoughtful questions and discussion style! I found swami sarvapriyananda's answers to be extremely insightful and filled with clarity. I couldn't help but to constantly be in appreciation of Swamis thinking - his sentence structures, choice of words and his logical flow of thought had so much consideration. Can't wait for part 2.

Thank you for your kind words Dillon ji! Glad that you liked the questions and discussion style - my main aim was just to listen to His words and give as little as possible from my side. I agree about his answers are insightful and filled with clarity and I agree with the way he words the teachings - they end up being impactful and mesmerizing. A few times, I really felt i was soaked in Pure Awareness! Can't wait for part 2 too!!!!! Thank you again bro!

Thank you, it is nice to know what Smi. Sarvapriyananda, and my current teachers, teach are exactly the same😊. Thanks also, for the new parables I hadn’t heard before, (of the cow, and of the sail), in terms of comprehending Brahman’s existence within and without ourselves, and everywhere, (our guru taught the wave and ocean metaphor; the snake vs. a tree branch, also). It’s interesting, too as Smi. spoke, the terms, stories and texts I’ve studied, or am studying now-though he didn’t say their names-they came to mind, as the conversation progressed. I also really liked the last question and Smi.’s answer, concerning when/where to apply what you learn (i.e.: “Walk the talk,” karma yoga), even in the most difficult of circumstances, such as with Arjuna not wanting to fight/kill family/friends in the battlefield, and Krisna’s patient teaching him, one doubt/question/fear/confusion at a time. I’m very new in my path (just 4 years), but, like Smi. said: “You have to really want this path, and understanding, before it will even present Itself in your life. Like when Arjuna wanting to see Krsna’s true for, then becoming overwhelmed by it (and this, even after all the prior teachings of Krsna). Though not perfect in my bhakti, and as a karma yogin, I’ve come to find It to be the very sanest, most perfect sādhana, to answer everything I’ve ever questioned about, of any other path, I’ve trodden, and (for me, anyway), it is something I don’t foresee stopping striving to live by its teachings, the rest of my life. It is very likely I won’t attain moksha in this life, but (understanding all these teachings and personal progressing towards knowing such mahavakyas as “tattvamasi”, e “ahambrahmah”, will carry over from this, to a subsequent incarnation), I’m happy to continue step by step, in this path. Thank You both, for this really Good episode. Harih Om🙏

Dear Bearded Mystic, thanks for the wonderful guest and for the valuable interview, really beautiful piece of work! 🙏 I feel I must share my vision that we as listeners would be part of a fantastic intellectual conversation if you were to interview Swami Revatikaanta, the head teacher of the Bhakti Marga Academy and host of the Thinking Bhakti Podcast. ( By the way, he has recently produced a beautifully presented respectful analysis of Sam Harris's Stance on Miracles: kzbin.info/www/bejne/onPCmKyAf9yjaZY ) Much Love, Ram Ram ❤
