We are 18 days into the war of Israel aainst Hamaa as I watched this today. It is eerie to know that this could possibly happen within the next several months. May the God of Israel protect the IDF as they fight this war against terrorism. May He go before them and grant them a miraculous deliverance from their enemies. Shalom Truth Gardener, The Prophets indeed had a flair for the theatrics, which was by God's design. They acted out many of their prophecies, and many prophets sang their prophecies along with music. This was a way to utilize the most visceral mental/audible imagery to awaken the audience to the sober truth of God's Words. That's why we like to use comedy and visuals to further our messages. The end time stories...the visions, are simply complex. You have to figure out 5 time frames that prophecies cover: Abraham to Joseph, Moses to Babylon, Babylon to Rome, Daniel's 70th week, and then the rule of Messiah. No small task during your reading of the OT. ISRAEL FLEES one more time from their land at the 3.5 year mark. The Anti-Christ judges the Apostate church then turns on Israel and the tribulation saints. Israel flees...and wisely so as the devil comes to Jerusalem for 3.5 years. The Good News: today, God offers salvation, Romans 5.9. How far down the "Rabbit hole" does the church go before the "rapture"? It seems we see many things we don't want to see including the Gog invasion. I'd estimate that the anger of the LORD is where the church is delivered, as in Genesis 19, then "Sodom" judged. Thus, a coming Rapture-War that includes nuclear weapons...and an ugly mess on earth. Israel survives...for 3.5 years, but the Sunni Islam influence does too as the SHIA nations are damaged. At the 3.5 year mark of Daniel's prophecy a great "Islamic War" happens, and the man of sin appears from a radical portion of Islam. The rebirth of SHIA? Maybe.

Shalom, It is not our desire to come off as war mongers. We love all people, and earnestly pray the Syrians to come to know Yeshua as their savior. For decades we have ministered to the lost, including Muslims. It is not God's desire to bring judgment on the nations, but because of His goodness and justice He must. The necessity of our explanation for the Oracle of Damascus is not to cheer on their doom, but to urge other believers to pray on their behalf. God gives us these prophetic windows so that we might declare His words to those broken people, and perhaps, just as with the Ninevites, they might repent and extend the timetable before destruction comes. By modern statistics, less than 2% of the population of Syria is Christian. We trust our good God to protect those believers from His judgment, as we stated from Genesis 12:3. Although the number of Christians in Israel is low, the number of Jewish believers (Messianics) is currently an untold story. More Jews are coming to faith in Israel than any other time in history. But the heart of this matter is Psalm 121:4: "He who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep." It is Satan's plan to use any pawn to destroy Israel. Syria is ruled by an evil government regime, which will stop at nothing to carry out Satan's plans. God will not let them succeed according to Isaiah 17. Interesting enough, the numbers of Christians in the underground church of Iran is in the untold millions. We know many who minister there. Those believers pray for and bless Israel; they understand Iran's role in Bible prophecy and intercede for God to topple their government.
