Nice video. I like your 7095 with the tilt front grille. Since Allis Chalmers don't exist anymore. As a former Allis Chalmers employee who worked with the engineering department. Your project is Allis Chalmers approved. You did a great job. Now for the shakedown or working it in the field. If you should find any issues. It will become a better tractor. I can't wait for my inspection tour. Nice job. 33:36

Thats a really nice work of art you have put together there for sure. Gives us a good idea of where things might have been. I have seen the IH 88 series Mated to Magnum rear ends and cabs and those are a great piece to see and your Allis would fit right in with that as well. Allis could've made the 8095 that could have been a game changer with 200 + horse category. I know IH had toyed with offering cummins power in a Larger 2+2 300-400 horse. Would've been a battle with big Allis FWAs and IH with Cummins 2+2

Why ac never used this engine in tractors from the factory is a mystery. Anything bigger then a 8050 and 7060 the 426 wasn't enough motor. Looks awesome!!!
@brucebaldwin1375 Жыл бұрын
From what I remember being told that engine was in the prototype 7080 the reason I was told they switched to the 3500 was the engine ran at a slower RPM which increased the time under load of the transmission gears by going to the higher RPM engine it made the transmission last longer but same couldn’t be said for the engine.

Good video. Nice build. Think 8000 side panels would have cleared? Is your front frame shorter than a 8095? Always wondered what would have happened if Allis Chalmers survived.
@AllisPeterson Жыл бұрын
Thanks! I would have had to make the hood 2.5" wider on each side or cut the 8000 panels for clearance. But I had been dreaming of a 7000 series with a 8000 cab and 4wd for a long time. So this is the end result. I believe she is much shorter than those tractors.

@Dennis-bj9cj Жыл бұрын
@@AllisPeterson think it was normal. The N7 puffed out quite a bit of smoke when you first started it until it found itself. It was kinda the highlight of the day!
@timothylessing4774 Жыл бұрын
It's the retard Notch on the plungers in Fuel pump. It went to full Fuel and delayed the injection timing by approximately half to allow the fuel to be injected into a hotter air charge improving the chances of ignition, however due to incomplete combustion copious amounts of black smoke is released. 🤣🤣

@AllisPeterson Жыл бұрын
255 at the pto, no idea on weight. She is strictly the chopper tractor. The two filters on the drivers side or left are fuel filters. The 4 on the other side are, rear two engine primary oil, middle little one is water filter and front big cat filter is the bypass oil filter. This is a power shift tractor. Two ranges with 6 speeds each.
