i bought one of these 6 yrs ago for a home exhaust project ive done 4 vehicles since and its been a great tool not cheap but it got the job done without any hack BS or the like clean precise cuts yea its heavy duty too. ill admit the guy making the vid might have not been the most "polished" of individuals BUT who ever reads this post in years to come will hopefully take my word that its an amazing device you will need a dedicated stand for this thing .

Appreciate your comment because the salesman does seem like a used car salesman. The product looks pretty solid though.

Damn, you people are hard core critics. He was demonstrating a killer tool, not turning letters on The Wheel of Fortune.

Would using annular cutting bits lead to a better/smoother finish?

i sure would not use wooden blocks, looks like a few extra pins in the below hole would work far better, if not i would make a jig,, you would be fighting with your blocks of wood

Motor mouth brushes over all the things that are wrong with the machine, the things that would really bug you if you bought one! Sorry Dan Sega this is the reason for criticism it's not negative it helps improve design you may be happy buying the same old crap that breaks but i want improvemrnts made to make the product better, the improvement i would make to this machine would be to move the clamp position away from the fulcrum then ' it wouldn't wander on ya'

Did the licensing for this and the smaller notcher get sold to manufacturers in China or did they just do what China is famous for and STEAL it? Looks very similar to what Summit Racing sells by Stronghand Tools which are made in China. I guess I assumed that Summit didn’t support that kind of thing but I haven’t bought anything from them for maybe 20 years 😳, and it seems like most companies primary concern nowadays is the stockholders. I’m 99.99% sure JD Squared(JD2)came up with it before long them. 😡

Talking away to fast. I'm not even buying anything and I felt uneasy and wanted to leave like I was at a car dealership. Slow it way down. You got plenty of time.
