Thanks brother! And if you want to know what’s even more crazy is the fact that I haven’t sharpened this knife in over a year! Only regular maintenance stropping on basswood with gunny juice and this thing is still doing great!

Thanks brother! And yeah it takes time and experience to understand and appreciate a well done edge. Alot of people think a factory edge is the gold standard but in reality they are far from it! Its a learning process though, we all have to start somewhere! Hope you have a good day as well! 👊🏼😁

@@BLADESANDFADESOFFICIALha not even close! They never had a proper hand sharpened edge or even know it was possible. I know your work on a fixed angle is great as well.

Not bad, definitely sharp. I’d recommend clamping closer to the tip to give you a better angle on the heel so you can minimize the smile on the blade past the plunge grind

Yeah, that smile is from the first time I sharpened this a couple years ago but you are correct. Ive since then made videos sharpening this knife and resolved those issues. I believe that video was well over a year ago and this hasn’t been sharpened since! Just regular maintenance and stropping so it’s holding up and still performing pretty damn good. Great knife for sure!
