Your videos are so fascinating to me. I feel not so crazy after knowing that people believe in real monster, I only dream of them and yet am embarrassed to talk about the insanity that comes to me in dreams. It got better as I got older, but as child I was terrified to be alone even during the day. In some occasion I know I wasn’t a sleep, but I can’t explain what was really happening, since when I able to scream for help and once someone approaches to help everything stops suddenly like nothing was happening. For instance, like my bed raise and levitate in the air, but in instance the bed is still on the floor when someone enters the room. Or something will be pulling my blanket or foot, but than in a instance it disappears. In some occasion I saw creatures awake, but they disappear when I scream for help.

Something tells me that Rabies, while potentially capable of imitating a Retro virus, would do a very sloppy job of applying new genetic material, or at least come with some unwanted side effects. Do you think that way, too?
@MoonChickenProductions5 жыл бұрын
Yes, you are 100 percent correct. This is in fact true for other virii besides a mutated rabies. So ja, you got this on the money as it were.

kirby march Barcena These recrded videos are a lot easier to make than the usual beastiary style. I could probably prduce several in one week this way but I fear the visuals may get boring. also I consider this to be on par to the "rules for reification" video. where the topic is related to the usual series, but is also a small diversion. If you think you would like more videos such as this, please let me know

Something tells me that one or two creatures from mythology and such would have a similar evolutionary path as the one discussed in the video I have right here. m.kzbin.info/www/bejne/hILOe4iXpN5rgdk Is this evolutionary path possible? If so, to what extent?
@MoonChickenProductions5 жыл бұрын
Very interesting. And yes it is possible to have parasites evolve in such a manner. Mind you the size of those creatures is well beyond anything we might expect in our current atmosphere and planet as both oxygen levels and the creatures lack of a skeleton means that it would neither be able to breath nor move under earths gravity. But if you change it a little bit more we can definitely see something like that evolving.

The way the Retrovirus can be applied to mythological conditions is fascinating. Lycanthropy, Vampirism and Zombification make some sense when you consider how Retrovirii can alter how cells work. Especially when you consider the majority of our dna is a match for that for every other lifeform on Earth. Like if a retrovirus were to switch on the 'wolf' genes and were to switch off the 'human genes, turning a human into a wolf makes some sense. Of course were this possible it is unlikely a human would survive the process. Unless the retrovirus could reanimate dead cell matter as well. While the human may not physically transform into a wolf they may begin behaving like one. Of course this is pure science fiction.
@MoonChickenProductions5 жыл бұрын
I agree with you partially. You are correct on two points, that we share a lot of DNA with many animals and that many shared genes are deactivated. However, do remember that those shared genes code for things like "grow lungs", "have blood", "eat" etc. Those small differences really make a big difference in the end. However, in principle, what you say isnt impossible. Though messing with DNA like that is more likely to give you cancer than anything else, especially since most of our gene editing is done during ova or zygote phase of development. This is also basically what gene therapy is but again, the process isn't perfect.
@PlanetZoidstar5 жыл бұрын
@@MoonChickenProductions Yeah, I mean I know the process of a virus switching on and off specific genes WOULD most likely kill the organism that it had infected (or at least make it very unwell) but I could see that explanation working in a science fiction story. Apparently scientists were able to implant Spider genes into Goats to produce milk which can be spin into silk (due to it containing an extra protein due to the Spider genes), so there is some merit to altering the genes of an organism.
