I love watching trombones shuffle papers while a sax solo is in progress, lol. Amazing piece!

Great chart played great! That this is the #2 band at UNT says something about the program.

About the video filming - I was also playing trombone here, and I just had one camera. I moved it around between takes, but obviously I was most concerned about playing the music. That's why there are funny angles at some points, and not any shots of the soloists. So I invite you focus your attention on the music, not the visual aspects.

That a video of it exists at all is enough for me!

2023: The musicianship and invention is beyond any question, I wonder where you are all now? - happy and healthy, I hope and enjoying whatever you are doing. Bass trombonists are thin on the ground - I hope you stuck with music. All the best from a British trumpet payer who gave up too early and still regrets it.

I love this. In my opinion, the two o'clock is a much tighter band than the one o'clock. Brett has a career as a composer if performance doesn't work out. That being said, I've met him, and that's not going to be an issue. He's a great all around guy and anyone is lucky to have him.

I just happened to have footage of him warming up, but no shots of him at that particular moment - so I stuck it in there so you could see him a little bit. Not really the best editing, I know - just wanted to give him some love!

This is the Two O'clock Lab Band? Wow!!!! where the hell have the been? I thought the One O'clock was the best of UNT.....Apparently not....I want to hear the Six thirty five lab band....I haven't heard a UNT performance group that didn't have some spark of genius in it....keep up the good work, loving this composition. well balanced band, playing a challenging but cool chart....I'm diggin it

The trombone must be the most demanding instrument to play - I love to watch the players - I know what a saxophone looks like. All these players could easily have been in the One O'clock band

That lead trumpet was first rate -perfect laying, but then you can't fault a single one of this marvellous band. I don't mean this rudely but the baritone player looked so compact you wonder how he managed to play that unwieldy sax.

Notice at 3:13. Unless there are 2 piano players. There's NO WAY that's what he's playing if you look at his hands and listen to the solo lol. Great chart though nonetheless
