I have many albums tied on my list of second-favorites. But there is only one all time favorite on my list, and this is it. In the mid nineties I went to London and stood on the exact spot where the Abbey Road album cover photo was shot. The cars were different, but the roadway looked the same. I went to the door of the studio and knocked to see if they would let me in. The gentleman who answered explained that they would love to let me in but couldn't because it's a working studio then gave me a studio brochure. I bet he had a desk just inside the door with a big stack of brochures to give to people who knock. He told me that every couple months or so they clean all the graffiti that Beatles fans from all over the world leave on the low wall in front of the studio so that visitors will have somewhere to leave new graffiti.
