What a laugh. Great to hear them at this time, enjoying it like teen-agers. Goes against the mythology.

@@scottmatznick3140: Hey, I'm just a dumb guitarist, but a fill can be comprised of licks ya know? LOL! But, yeah, you're right, and I stand corrected. And Ringo was definitely the best. Just got off the phone w/ my drummer from 40 years ago the other night, of course, we end up raving about Ringo and the few Beatle songs we did. He could recall the old song list better than I could. Who's playing lead guitar on this? Doesn't sound anything like George (I know he doesn't on the released version) or even Lennon,but I guess it must be John.
@jaelge3 жыл бұрын
It's only a few notes but it's likely George. He was playing around with a wah pedal a lot during the Let It Be sessions.
@jlr0221593 жыл бұрын
I believe George did actually play lead on the released version
@davidd97083 жыл бұрын
Lennon played lead on the released version (watch the live rooftop version for proof). That was definitely Harrison as Lennon was definitely playing rhythm guitar and concentrating on singing on this take. :)

Council house session? Could someone elaborate on that?

At 1.32 Lennon improvises a lyric about a "council flat" - subsidized, working class housing.

@@Suburbangeek It's McCartney, Lennon is not singing (unless on the chorus or back up) the lead

@@normandavidtidiman9918 Sure sounds like Lennon singing lead on the entire song with McCartney occasionally ghosting him.

@@Suburbangeek I listened again after your comment and I’m 100% certain that is Paul singing. I don’t know why Lennon would be singing lead on it anyway.
