Sophie-Marie Lange The reporter had asked them whether they have time to spend all their money. George asked, “what money?” Basically saying they don’t have that much money (which they didn’t at that time). So the reporter says “doesn’t he (meaning their manager, Brian Epstein) give you any?” George says, “no, have you seen that car of his?” He’s basically joking that Brian spends all their money on stuff for himself. Not really true - just a joke.

I'm not a die hard Beatles fan so i don't have any real strong feelings about them, so i feel like im standing at a neutral enough position to reflect on what I'm seeing here. These guys must have had an exceptionally strong friendship, at least in the early years, because the rapport they have is incredible. The love is super apparent to me, they're almost like a hive mind how on the same page they are, no wonder they created some of the greatest music of all time.
