There are differences that stand out majorly when you have listened to the Beatles since their first appearance on the Ed Sullivan show on that Sunday night like so many of us did. I still have all of my original albums and listen to them constantly.

This was John reminiscence of his life but it touches all because it is the human condition to look back, reflect on what we've gone through ,places, and people that were part of us and that we regret are ni longer there. John summarized our collective longing beautifully ❤

A really nice cover, stayed true to the original imo. For me this song was always hopeful, I guess I just see things different. It was always a call to live today, in the moment, love today to the best of your ability. It’s easy to dwell on the past and mistakes made, but God is the author and He gives us such a precious gift, today. I do my best. Of course, everything I know about doing right is from lessons learned from doing wrong, and I’ve done plenty of that. Love your reactions, beautiful!

Sentimental has a negative connotation to it; like sappy. It's more reflective and melancholic, imo.

I love you guys' take on songs you listen to. I have one I'd love to have you react to. It's by the band Blues Image from 1970. They had one commercial hit but they weren't a commercial band. Here's a song that will give you a much better feel for who they were and never got recognition for. The tune in called "CLEAN LOVE" and it's a blues tune. I think reading/showing the lyrics ruins the song. You are listening to the voice in your head like reading a book vs. listening and focusing on the beautiful music. I've watched thousands of reaction videos and there's a huge difference when there are lyrics onscreen vs. not. Maybe try the first time w/o lyrics?
