#OTD in 1967, "Our World" aired - it was the first worldwide satellite broadcast ever attempted and it generated the biggest TV audience in history to that date. #TheBeatles used the transmission to premiere their new single: All You Need Is Love. Oh to see the full videotape. The telecine source crops the image. This is good to present it this way. The actual song gets blocked easily. I tried to post just a 20 second excerpt of the ending for a Zappa project but KZbin copyright immediately blocked the whole video.
