Probably not, but it could have been a great addition to Yellow Submarine, or the original Get Back LP (never released). Back in the USSR, While My Guitar Gently Weeps, and most of Side 3 argue against it.

He played on at least one song (and sometimes many songs) on all those albums, as well as "Jamming With Edward," recorded during 1969 during a time when no Stones regular guitarist was available (Brian Jones was dysfunctional but hadn't been officially let go yet, Keith Richards was on a brief strike, and Mick Taylor had not joined) and released in 1972 and featuring Hopkins, Jagger on vocals, the regular Stones rhythm section of Wyman and Watts, and Ry Cooder on guitar.

Nicky Hopkins was such a talented keyboardist who added a boost to everything he played on. I remember when I heard the remix of ‘Sympathy For the Devil’ and was floored how amazing his playing in the song was, almost like I heard him for the first time. Here, he does it again. Thanks for the mix and share!

The Beatles gave away so many great songs. Thing is, they were so prolific that they didn’t have to include these great songs on their albums but this one defo should have at least been on a Beatles album. And Come & Get It that Paul gave to Badfinger. Wouldn’t the world be so much better if The Beatles were still with us ???

How great was Beatle George?! Beautiful playing by the Fab Four backing Liverpool friend and Apple labelmate Jackie Lomax. Listen for the cool organ after 2 minutes. I'm so grateful for the technology that allows this Jackie Lomax track to replace the singer with Harrison's Escher demo vocal. Also, George's lyrics offer sage advice that I try to follow. It sounds like a George track from one of his solo albums. Sad that John is not on it, singing or playing.

@@karaamundson3964 Hmm, John could be quite malevolent towards George's songwriting prowess. He rarely helped him or even attended recording sessions for some of George's songs.
