Did they not finish recording Abbey Road until August 1969? The date given in the title must be wrong as George is talking about the album

+Gregory French I just went from what the sleeve of the vinyl record said which was March 1969 for both parts. The interview could have been recorded in March and then played for press when the album was released I suppose. I guess we'll never know for sure...

Looks like the true recording date of this interview could be 8th October 1969 www.beatlesinterviews.org/db1969.1008.beatles.html This would make a lot more sense, given Abbey Road had just come out in late September of that same year. Unsure where the 4th March 1969 date comes from. There seems to be a few inconsistent dates on this albums collection of interviews. Hope this helps!

He worked hard for all his life. While Lennon was sleeping & dreaming and Paul having kids, lambs and dogs, George produced many artists, wrote songs for other singers, recorded and performed as session guitarist, made film / movie music, organized a mega-concert, co-presented Indian classical music; renovated a rare antique mason and its neglected garden; started a film producing company... What a man he was.
