Excellent chronological review of 1968. After seeing the events of 1968 in chronologic order I think it’s pretty clear of the role that Yoko and heroine use play in contributing to the Beatles break up.

*Heroin;...And, --->>>NOT: "heroine"!!!!; which is a feminine conjugation of the literary; &, script; or, story-plot narrative, positive protagonist, vocabulary word: "Hero".

It's pretty clear that you're a total idiot. NONE of that had anything to do with the breakup. How do I know this ? Because all 4 Beatles have said countless times what caused the breakup and that had NOTHING to do with it.t. It's amazing how sure and adamant that fools and idiots can be about something even when it has been proven other wise.

68 was THE most productive year of the Beatles. The year they woke up. Fab!

After the multi coloured psychedelic highs of 1967 The Beatles were on a search for the meaning of life in India with a new guru to look to following the death of their visionary manager Brian Epstein. Instead, they diverged from each other for the first time in separate directions which was the slow beginning of the end. John fell in love with Yoko Ono who became joined at the hip with him from than on, changing his whole outlook. Paul stuck to doing what he did best by crafting perfect pop songs and also meeting the love of his life Linda. George, the only Beatle who retained the influence of their stay with the Maharishi was carving his own stamp in the band. Ringo remained Ringo, although he began to become disillusioned being a Beatle, no longer as cheerful and temporarily quit during the recording of the album that defined them in 1968, The White Album.

Quite a tumultuous but productive year for the Beatles. If I had to give someone who had never heard the Beatles music before, an album of theirs, it would probably be Revolver, as I think it is track for track, their best and most polished collection of songs. But…for me personally, the White Album is my favorite. And on that album, John Lennon really shines. It’s as if as an artist, everything that he was dealing with that year, seemed to seep into and come out in his songwriting and lyrics. Imho, it’s his finest work on any album.

No matter how many of these retrospective videos that emerge about this timeframe of The Beatles, there’s no disguising the fact they were surrounded by mind control charlatans who curtailed their talent and power… Also… no matter how crazy bad their behaviour is portrayed, reported or described, their work on The White Album will be remembered and celebrated in perpetuity

Yeah but for most part they lacked artistic vision and depth. This is where Paul turned to making “pastish” songs and started to favour form over content. There are some great songs like “Blackbird”, “Helter Skelter” and “Martha My Dear”, but also countless of meaningless joke songs like “Obladi Oblada”.

Are you referring to FlipSideCT or someone else? To the other commenters on this thread FlipSideCT usually does long form audio documentaries on The Stones' albums, diving deep into where the band were personally around the time of writing, recording, and releasing of that particular album and even highlights the subsequent tour. The narration takes some getting used to, (not AI, just a voice not naturally born for narration) but the deep research and genuine enthusiasm makes up for it in my opinion.

What is amazing to me is that despite all of the troubles , adversities , and personal disagreements that the Beatles started going through after their manager and friend Mr. Brian Epstein passed away in late 1967 they continued to write and produce so many great songs and Albums. 1968's double album officially titled The Beatles but universally known as The White Album , 1969's Abbey Road Album , and their last album named Let It Be released in April 1970 contains some of the greatest music that the Beatles ever recorded. Much of the events described in this video i have heard or read about before except for this confrontation between Paul and John on June 14th in the halls of EMI. I never heard that Paul accused John of undermining the Beatles and being childish.

It’s not so much that the word Jude was “mistaken” for Jew. Hey Jude literally means Hey Jew in German.
@Dreadtower
@Dreadtower 4 ай бұрын
Rubbish. The semantics of the two are completely different. And syntactically, Jude in German is a general referring to Jews and in Hey Jude the song, is a specific referring to a particular person. There is no syntactic or semantic basis for your remark. Excuse me but I must scold you. Such laziness with language results in real problems. What does anti-Semitic mean? Beware! And if you must make equivalences, please make sure you have a proper linguistic understanding of what you’re doing.

Lennon was a Hitler fan, at one point. He wanted to put Hitler on the Sgt. Pepper album. When the Beatles went to Australia to play concert's, Lennon was on a balcony with the other Beatles, making Nazi salute's, to the fans looking up at the band. On the solo song, "God," he sings about all the thing's he no longer believes in, he sings I don't believe in "Hitler!" I don't have a problem with any of this. Or with antisemitism. I understand it's meaning. It doesn't just mean to be against Jews, but anyone who is semite, eastern people, from the middle east. Now the jews getting upset about the Beatles putting Jude on the window's, advertising Paul's song, "Hey Jude" just proves what intolerant, paranoid jerk's, they are. And then breaking the window and possibly threating to beat Paul up, is acting like a Nazi. Which of course they denounce, at the same time, behave just like them. Jewish hypocritical double standards, as usual. What else is new?
@wilhelmhagberg4897
@wilhelmhagberg4897 6 күн бұрын
There is nothing wrong with with what he said. “Jude” means “Jew” in german and many other languages. Obviously a German wouldn’t say “Hey”, but apart from that it totally works senantically, just like saying “Hey Swede” or “Hey Englishman”.
