I'm a senior beatlemaniac from Rio, who knows everything about the "naughty boys" and who's been listening and researching about them for sixty years. I felt relieved to finally evidence that somebody else, on this earth, has a similar opinion to mine regarding : A Day in The Life, Hey Jude and Something. I entirely ( and humbly ) agree with what Studmuffin pointed out : A Day in The Life is annoying, out of place and dull ; Hey Jude is an awful song : absurdly annoying, extensive, tiresome and predicable ; Something is cheesy, excessively plaintive and unduly decked out ; Strawberry Fields is really elaborated but, at the same time, very "junky", delirious and artificial. You should put your feet on the ground and realize it's all A MATTER OF TASTE AND NOT AN ABSOLUTE TRUTH !!! I, for example, prefer MICHELLE a thousand times than YESTERDAY, although YESTERDAY is regarded as a masterpiece. I think ( also, for example ) that songs like And Your Bird Can Sing, I'll Be Back, The Ballad of John&Yoko and The Night Before are infinitely better than ( the disgusting ) Hey Jude ... REMEMBER : A MATTER OF TASTE !!! NEVER A "BAD LIST" !!! Cheers from Rio !!!

I hated you for the first 12 minutes of this video, watching in disbelief that someone could not like these songs (though I totally would understand Mr Moonlight haha) but I couldnt stop watching! It was like looking into the sun or watching a car accident...I couldnt look away! It was painful to listen to and I cringed so hard.... BUT I was SOOOOO relieved that this was a joke! I love pictures of early Beatles. However, I never was a huge fan of the collarless jackets. I love the jackets that had the black velvet~looking collars the best. I understand that people don’t like “Mr. Moonlight” and they usually mention that cheesy organ break. Fair enough. But - to me - it has always been obvious that the Beatles are making a joke: they know the song is corny, and the organ was a typical bit of triteness for a lot of songs before they came along and changed music. They are being cheesy on purpose. I think it is a lot of fun myself and - as you said - Lennon’s vocal is truly electrifying.

I heard Mr Moonlight for the first time, watching The Beatles cartoon on KZbin at 8 years old and i always thought it was boring and I'd skip it. Course i love it nowadays cause i appreciate everything The Beatles have written and recorded... maybe i hate it just a little bit cause i cant reach the high notes John sings on the song and it makes me jealous lol :P

Something has always been a pass for me. The melody always rubs me the wrong way for some reason. It just hits my brainpan in a hinky way. Don't think I've ever listened to the entire thing. I Wanna Hold Your Hand does the same thing to me. The hinky is turned up to 11. Never have given a shit about In My Life, either. There are quite a few who gives a shit Beatles songs, come to think of it. The weird ass shit, like Wild Honey Pie and Happiness Is A Warm gun, those scratch my gnarly, Beatles itch in a big way.
