The Beautiful Sound of Capybaras Singing

Early in the video they were looking for someone to feed them, but they were all singing and one by one crossing under the wood. Capys demonstrate amazing synchronized behavior, where were they going?

That was mainly Aoba who is always looking for somebody to feed her! She is very focused on food unlike her brother, Donut, who would rather be mating, or fighting with the breeding male through the bars of the fence which separates them. Although all the capybaras would always like to be fed since they can't find their own food (grass). Yes it's very interesting the way that the "singing" begins and gathers momentum until they all get up and move off. Usually they go to visit the breeding male but sometimes they go in the opposite direction up the mossy hill. And they seem to know in which direction they will be going before they start to move as if there is something in their "conversation" which identifies in which direction to go. I was watching one of my videos of Hinase walking and she looked as if she was walking in time to the music! I will post that video later. I get a little annoyed reading about all the wonderful abilities of some other species, like elephants and whales, who have been very well researched - when capybaras share the same outstanding abilities. The capybaras were going up the mossy hill, behind the Onsen, at the edge of their enclosure. This was the hill which Hinase desperately tried to climb when she was very weak in the last few days of her life, trying to get to her daughter, Ryoko, who was in a separate enclosure at the top of the hill.
