I'm Japanese, and this was one of the first songs I remember listening on the radio when my family moved to England on 1995 because of my father's job. At that time I was able to understand only about half of the lyrics, but I still loved the atmosphere of this song. It also took me few years to know that the one playing on radio and TV was the censored version lyrics.

Although Oasis was my favourite of the 90s There's certain songs from both sides of the pond as you say ' stinks of the 90's where even in Britain artists like Alanis Morissette felt like they were part of our 90s culture as well as America
@mauricebrocklehurst23582 жыл бұрын
Yeah the good old days with British bands like beautiful south, Oasis, Blur and even after Freddie Mercury's death Queen were still hitting the charts. Then you've got the American artist like Aerosmith, guns n roses, Bon Jovi and meatloaf hitting the charts with I'd do anything for love getting to number one in America and Britain where it spent 7 weeks at number one and 19 weeks in the charts and other hits
