@@MichaelMoss-h9c In my opinion, poor Robert deserved a real catch like Stefania. I think he was too traumatized from previous failed relationships to relax and grow more comfortable with Stefania. I got the impression that he felt he wasn’t deserving of such a beautiful and vivacious woman. He lacked the confidence to accept her so he pushed her away. Too bad. Of all of Robert’s women over the years, I thought that Stefania was the one for him. Raymond, on the other hand, deserved Peggy, the take-no-crap cookie lady for his wife. Debra was too kind, too normal for Raymond and his overbearing mother. Peggy would’ve been much more adept at taking on the Barrone family shenanigans. She would’ve had no problem asserting herself with Ray and Marie.

Couple that with his annoying whiny personality and often selfish attitude, and I seriously doubt his marriage to his wife Debra would have lasted that long. Debra could’ve done much better. She didn’t need Ray or that sarcastic mother-in-law.
