One of my favorite verses in the Quran is 3:31. Allah commanded to Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) "Say, if you love Allah, then follow me, Allah will love you & forgive you your sins." This verse was revealed when a group christians came to visit the Prophet & they kept saying we love God.

LAURA Please come to Malang, East Java, Indonesia. You are going to.like it. The weather is wonderfull in Malang. I am originany from Sibolga, North Sumatera but now have been living in Malang more than 25 yra. I have been to Helnsinki, and Tampere. And my daughter has been lIving in Tampere for 3 yrs now. ماشاء الله Indeed Ustad Nouman Khan is a good reference, and inspiring situation/story from Prophet Yusuf True, obeying God in an unjust/atheist system/regime is not easy Also a balance with priorities is practical/relevant .. basically love/sacrifice/courage aspects are related to a given faith/ideology and beliefs So the matter of love of God as a source of motivation/meditation is highly valuable May Allah/God bless you with more wisdom and knowledge
