Hamidreza Mohammadi; founder of Ganjoor website talks about the importance of persian poetry for Iranian people and his concerns about finding and showing the sweetness of persian poems.
Hamid Reza Mohammadi is the founder of the Persian poetry web site “Ganjoor”, located at www.ganjoor.net, almost 11 years ago. Ganjoor is a collection of web sites, services and open source applications trying to spread Persian poetry and literature freely. The founder also has developed an open source Windows Forms application, an android app and ran some crowd sourcing projects to extend Ganjoor collection using user contributions. Ganjoor and its related projects are becoming very popular among researchers in the field of Persian literature and other people interested in Persian poetry. I am Persian and speak Farsi and all my life trying to understand the deep meaning of Persian Poems, especially Rumi's poems. I have not seen anyone could come close. Even well recognized figurers in Persian literature. Everyone has their own perception. However, I admire Mr. Mohamadi to have general knowledge. If I could understand Rumi's poems I would walk on cloud toward God.
