I live in Mauritius 🇲🇺 🏝 People pay lots of money to travel to come to our island 🏝 to chill relax n detox.. n here people are so stressed... they dont realise how beautiful life could be.. its all about priorities... What a beautiful video! I've read somewhere that happiness depends on how we see our lives rather than what our lives are actually like. No matter how good our life is, if we always see the cup half empty, we'll always be unhappy. And the opposite is also true. No matter how many struggles we have, if we decide to focus our energy on what is good in our lives, we'll be happy. It's all in our minds.

This brought me back to raising my kiddos which are now adults and I am so glad I chose slow living while raising those kids! Thank you for your beautiful video and great reminders. I think a little bit of this can be applied to so much of life and changes everything. Not every circumstance but how we find beauty in the simple, even mundane moments if we choose to be intentional and present. This is mindfulness to me and helps birth gratitude. I find beauty in the simplest things. A hot cup of tea, a leaf fluttering in the wind, a butterfly- all of these can be so beautiful, truly magical if we let them.

I really like your aesthetic, the flowers, the tones. Where are your flowery pillow covers from? This video was much needed. I easily get lost in comparison and productivity.
