Thank you for your wonderful videos. I’m a 69 year old man who grew up in north central Pennsylvania and lived, for awhile, in southern New Hampshire. I live in western Washington, now, and I miss the autumn leaves, hickory nut pies, the tart bite of Macintosh cider, and warm yeasty donuts. I grew up on a farm and as a boy, wandered the mountain in back of the house. I miss the smell of the leaves and their rustling under my feet. So grateful for you and your videos. Please keep it up!

My female doberman dog was about to tangle with a skunk. We have raccoons, deer, skunk, and squirrels everywhere. In a residential neighborhood. I don't like any of them, but the neighbors think they are all so cute. They feed them. 🤔

@@jmar665 feeding certain wild animals, particularly deer is illegal in most if not all states. Google your local area information. There's info about why it's bad to feed deer and what to do if your neighbor is doing so. I'd be upset because it attracts lots of deer and when the food is gone they start eating my dahlias, hostess and many other plants I don't want eaten! It's ultimately to healthy for the deer either. Maybe they dont realize that.

The Master Artist is here at work in the west too...we're starting to see the reds, yellows, oranges and occasional purples, but not in the proliferation it is in the east. Doesn't Idaho get its share of cold and snow? And some parts unbearably hot Summers? I live about 4 hours west of Kyle and Ally and I believe our Summers that can get hot (to us) but only a few days above 90 and usually cool nights, these gorgeous Autumns, and Springs where the redbud, ornamental (or real) cherry, plum and crabapples trees fill the streets and hills with pinks and purples and whites make it all worth it. If you adopt the Danish style of hygge (cozy) with hot chocolate, hot cider, teas etc, fires in the wood stove and lots of candles, Winter becomes downright magical!

@@dod2304 We have very mild winters here. "They" call it the banana belt???? Snow lasts a day or so and then gone but stays up in the mountains for wonderful snow skiing.. It does get hot for a month or two but otherwise a wonderful place to live.....but don't tell anyone.......

I’m in Australia and I can’t say I’ve ever experienced an autumn, really. The changing of our seasons is nowhere near as dramatic. We’ll have certain trees bloom at times of the year, the Jacaranda’s in the city and surrounds of Perth WA are quite beautiful when they start to show their purple colour again. But these autumn reds and oranges would be magnificent to see up close. Thanks for the vicarious experience!

When is peak season in your area??? I'm going to Vermont stowe and Woodstock on the 9th and they say peak season in Vermont especially stowe and Woodstock is between October 9th-october 12th

@purplesky4763 North of me in the Adirondak park. Peak foliage is usually in about a week or two. I am just north of Syracuse. Peak is usually around the first of November. Unfortunately, the last few years, it hasn't been as stunning as in years past. It's more like a gradual incline. Most of them fall due to wind before it gets to full foliage.
