Necrom is the seventh Chapter of The Elder Scrolls Online. It is an expansion set on the Telvanni Peninsula, centered on the ancient Dark Elf city of Necrom. It includes an entire zone set within Hermaeus Mora's realm of Apocrypha. It also includes the new Arcanist class. In Necrom, you become an agent of Hermaeus Mora tasked with investigating a mysterious threat to the Daedric Prince’s most closely guarded secrets. You must seek out lost knowledge deep within the heart of the City of the Dead and walk between realities to uncover a vast conspiracy powerful enough to endanger Nirn and Oblivion alike.

Reupload - Thank you to the people that were so quick to point out the giant error I somehow missed! If you've been following the channel for a long time, you know I love MMO's and I've done most of the other bigger MMO's already but hadn't gotten the chance to do anything for ESO yet because the one time I tried a couple of years back, I lost all the files when the video was almost done. Bethesda was so kind to send a key for the latest expansion so it felt like a great moment to finally give the game a moment in the spotlight on the channel. Apocrypha was one of my favourite moments playing Skyrim, and it was cool seeing more of the realm here!

No. Its not an mmorpg. Its solo bleak pve quest grindfest with cashshop, lootboxes, chapters divided into 2 parts as paid dlcs and dungeons and etc and etc

It won "MMO of the year" like 4 years in a row or something and is the second best selling Elder Scrolls game, I am not sure it is at all underrated.

It´s a real shame the potential TESO wastes every year. I´ve played for years and nowadays I mostly just log in for events and what not, and for any TES fans most of the time the journey is worth it. But men, I really wish the new locations, the new additions to the games that were present in lore but neever got until now, or the superb writting for some side quest and characters interactions were in service of better gameplay. Open world content is utterly simplistic and on contrast end-game content ask for perfection. You can solo most overland zone bosses, even on older DLCs, mostly just throwing light attacks and moving a little to avoid much damage, and then you go to a dungeon vet from that very same DLC and the first boss one hits you all 4 Cp2000 players on a mechanic that is not telegraphed and you basically need to learn by trial and error because it wasn´t even present in normal mode. There´s no middle ground, either you are a casual completing content pressing one button or you are willing to learn every step you need to take for end-game content or install a gazillion addons that will describe to you in big text what to do at all times in the screen, and you better do it to perfection. Then people wonder why only but a few of us compare to the game population have manage to clear vMoL ... well because the "choose your color correctly or instakill" mechanic is not present anywhere in the game BUT that trial, and even if similar mechanics may exist some places, they do not represent an instan death on those other places, just a small damage percentage that any healer could sustain, so people don´t learn to play the game, then one day they try end-game and become frustrated. If they were going to make the multiplayer aspect of the game so unbalanced, at least they should provide a way for a single player experience that is accesible for the normal TESO player, not just the end-gamer, so at least there was a true way for all players to experience all content.
