Great video and subject! I do have this Becky doll, though she is a reproduction. How I wish she was a real prototype...what if there are a few out there somewhere...👀👀👀 I bought this one from eBay but she only came in her yellow dress and with nothing else. I am still pleased to own her, the past has come to life. Thank you so much for doing a feature on her!

I loved this video. I’m a big Francie fan. When I was 4 I asked Santa for a Barbie and I got a cheap plastic clone with molded hair and a removable plastic pony tail. I was so disappointed, lol! When I was 10 I got a Francie. She was the only “Barbie” I ever had. In 1998 when I started collecting, the first doll I bought was a brunette Francie just like the one I had as a kid. She is in mint condition. I have all the Francie reproductions including Becky and about twelve vintage ones. I usually unbox my dolls but I had not unboxed Becky. When I saw your unboxing I had to unbox mine. The rubberbands still stretch but Becky has bad box hair like yours. We are fixing to have a spa day.

Becky was calling to me “Open Me” .. “Open Me”, lol. The hairdo is solid and yes mine will need a spa day as well. 😁💅

What if Mattel never released Becky as the ending of the Mod era occurred? From what I have read the style was out of fashion by the early 1970's. What do you guys think?

The stand was too small and her pink outfit was too small, makes me wonder if she was meant to just be displayed in her box

@@dwilloughby13 hello and thank you for watching. It took some work to slide the pants on a vintage Francie. The gold chain belt on the pink pants is sewn on which makes it very tight to get past her thighs. Once over the fit is perfect. We will be posting pics soon!
