In Episode Six, Matt continues his adventure up the Stuart Highway, making his way to Australia’s Red Centre and arriving in the heart of the Northern Territory - Alice Springs. The town, rich in Indigenous culture and outback history, offers Matt the perfect setting to explore. He kicks off his time in Alice Springs with a memorable visit to the Alice Springs Brewing Company, where he samples some local brews and learns about the region’s unique beer culture.
Matt also shares a beer or two with Northern Territory icon Ted Egan, a legendary figure known for his music and storytelling, immersing himself in the local vibe and tales of the outback. From there, the adventure continues with a trip to Ellery Creek Big Hole, a stunning natural swimming spot in the West MacDonnell Ranges, and Ormiston Gorge, where Matt takes in some of the region’s most breathtaking landscapes. With stunning desert scenery, ancient rock formations, and an iconic local legend, this episode highlights the rugged beauty and deep cultural heritage of the Northern Territory.
