In Episode Four, Matt continues his journey north, leaving Parachilna behind and venturing further into the remote wilderness of South Australia. Traveling through the tiny outback town of Marree, he makes his way along the famous Oodnadatta Track toward William Creek, one of the most isolated towns in Australia. Along the way, Matt encounters the challenges of outback travel as mechanical issues with his trusty campervan threaten to derail his journey.
Upon arriving in William Creek, Matt meets the self-proclaimed Town Mayor, a larger-than-life local character, and pays a visit to Australia's most remote pub. With Lake Eyre just on the outskirts, this episode showcases the grit, charm, and sheer vastness of Australia’s remote heartland. Will Matt's journey continue, or will the rugged terrain claim its first casualty? Tune in to find out!
=========================================
Join Australian comedian Matt Stewart as he travels off the beaten path, following the journeys of some of Australia's famous and infamous adventurers, dropping in to as many craft breweries and pubs as he can.
This season Matt's taking on the 4000km trip up Central Australia, retracing the footsteps of one of Australia's most successful recorded explorers. From the plains of the south, to the red centre and the tropical top end....he'll see it all!
Like the explorers of old, there will be hardships...but the danger of scurvy, starvation and thirst will be significantly less. Plus there'll be plenty of characters to meet along the way.
History, Heroes, Hops.
Part history lesson, part travel show, but mostly just an excuse for a cold bevvy or two.
