The library from the 1st movie was fake. They put up a facade around the library you see today. The original library in the town looked like the facade but it burned down. It was replaced with the building that you see today and that was covered up during the first filming.

Beetlejuice was the first movie that my parents took me to see. I love it so much. This is one of the movies that I know shot for shot. I've dreamt of stepping through the screen into that world so many times. It's so amazing that you actually got to do it! I've wanted the sequel since the first one came out so I'm excited. Wow! To see the actual locations of the original film and to know they’re returning to the real location is amazing! Jay, you knocked this one out of the park! I too love the original film, one of my favorites, the 80’s was a truly awesome decade for films. There have been so many rumors over the years, but Tim Burton said he’d only make it if Michael Keaton agreed to return. Keaton himself confirmed that this is the only film he was interested in making a sequel to the original. I too hope that with much of the original cast returning, it’ll be as entertaining as the original. 🤞🤞 Thanks, Jay, for bringing us all to this fantastic location! Best of Luck in your travels! It must have been fun to see a current movie set still being used for the movie. I have been to only one movie set the was still filming and that was Paul Blart Mall Cop. I went almost every night to see it. I was lucky enough to see Kevin James around the set that was cool. It was shot in a working mall. The Burlington Mall in Burlington Mass. Today the Mall has changed a lot. Keep up the great work you and Cris the Girl are doing. GO RED SOX and BRUINS.

Made the trip from Colorado and was there yesterday.Sadly everythings torn down, but i did see remnants of the house still there! The crews were there dismantling it. I flew my drone over it for the shots, and they were not happy with me lol! I dont know why though, the movie is not a secret anymore. I couldnt get myself to leave, that part of Vermont is so dang beautiful!!

I’m not sure how true it is but I saw somewhere that the signs that are up for the school, the real estate office and also the welcome to winter river are the original signs from the first movie, they have been in storage at Warner Brothers

They most likely will. It'll be up till the strike is over and that's not gonna be over for few months. OR, unless they decide to shut down production permanently on this film due to the stolen statue and now idiots went back and destroyed the house a little bit and the 90 yr old woman's property that the house sits on. They may just abandon the movie, we don't deserve nice things, others ruin it and we never unite to stop it.

It looks like they used a narrow lens for the bridge scenes to make the drop into the river higher. I think that's also why the red bridge looks wider and shorter in real life.

I actually just learned that the original bridge was a one lane wooden bridge, they rebuilt the bridge to a double lane bridge sometime after the movie

My parents almost bought the land they built the house in Zephyrhills for Edward Scissorhands. It was a lovely property that was just a blank land with a well. Thats it. Wish they did but it was around 20 years ago, but selling their farm in lithia fell through
