Thanks for the advice man, been worrying about starting a llc because I don’t want someone stealing my name but also been worried about using fonts and getting sued. I’ve got most everything for the business to make items but only have had like 3 sales. I want to get my name out first before I file for a llc because you never know if you’re gonna fail or succeed in that brand name or designs.

Your videos are what I needed at this moment, I'm in my journey into e-commerce. One thing I would like to mention about the last bit, and I hope it only helps you reach out to more people, is that some of us are not in the US or in any country that allows payment methods and gateways at all, so in our case an LLC is necessary to simply start, whether on Etsy, that doesn't allow me to open any store from my country, or if you want to accept anything besides Paypal at Shopify.

This was very good! I'm still a bit confused and on the fence. Are you saying don't even worry about getting a sole proprietorship either? What about buying equipment like the T Shirt press and a working computer? Don't we want to be able to get an initial tax writeoff for those items for operational cost. I realize they can be included later but you can only depreciate previously owned things being used for the business for 180 days. Please explain how this is an advantage? Thanks!
