I have been following this channel for a year now and got my keyboard piano today. My mom played when I was a kid and I lost her 8 years ago. I always wanted a piano since she passed. I played this first lesson and had tears celebrating my mom and wishing she could hear. Look forward to many more! Thank you! ❤

I love the way you teach.....I have made progress following your lessons, and it is SO relaxing to play! I begged for piano lessons as a kid, but no go, and I did end up in band playing clarinet (which taught me to read music---I actually excelled on my clarinet!) I am 65 now and learning piano! Never too late!

Now I want to learn more on the piano and think it is better to begin with simple steps. Many thanks for your work to help everyone who is interested in piano lessons for beginners❣️Best wishes from Germany 🇩🇪 😃👍💋

Say lady, your "Softly softly", don't panic approach is pretty good. I was a jazz bassist for a few years in the 70's/80's and I have been teaching myself piano for years having abandoned bass. I see a few more of your videos here on KZbin so I might check those out. Great to see people like you trying to introduce piano in a "You can do it" way. Best wishes from Australia...

I literally just started practicing 2 weeks ago. So yes, I am a beginner. Thank you for taking the time to make these videos, I know it's not easy and takes a lot more time than the video itself. I have been watching your videos and they have been very helpful. The exercises have been fun, with beautiful notes and challenging (at least to me) me to use to both hands simultaneously. So, thank you for helping beginners like me!

Thank you for this video. You are helping me learn the piano and I appreciate it. One video that I would like to see from you is a side view of your hands as you play. To make sure that I am holding my hands in the correct position. Thank you and God bless.

I had my beautiful Roland LX-9 delivered Monday to start my piano journey and I can’t express enough how much I love it. I’m an absolute beginner and I’m deliberately learning to walk before I can run by learning scales, chords, finger dexterity, etc. I’m incredibly proud (& relieved) that two handed playing is going great so far. This lesson reassured me I’m doing all the right things at this point in time to relax and be comfortable and happy at the piano. It’s only been 3 days and there is a long way to go, but what a lovely thought that is.

I love music. I played the saxophone when I was in grade school for four years. I am now 56. I have two children that play piano both are very talented but I want to learn how to play and sing. I have tried so many different lessons with other instructors only to come away frustrated. Something just wasn't making sense. I have been following this channel for about a month and somethings are finally breaking through. Thank you!

I've tried to learn in the past but haven't had the oomph to really commit, but after doing some growing and giving myself a break if I don't get it all quickly, I found it very satisfying to sit down, watch this, and play along. I could feel the frustration I felt before, but I stuck with it and enjoyed playing the song at the end. Thanks for making it easy.

Thank You, you are so persuasive I always pick something too hard. Very pleased to see that you are using the proper Roland Pitch classes on the keys. It is most offputting when people use the silly Yamaha pitch starting at -1 instead of zero because they only made short key boards when everyone else was using MIDI properly.
