Fire content as always. Would appreciate muting the background music during the explanation though.

I haven't played my banjo for a while since starting to play uke, but you are inspiring me to get back to it as I love the sound. Thanks for posting

Glad you are OK. Good luck with insurances. This exercise sounds like Lubos Malinos of Druha Trava (czech republic bluegrass band) playing "Bugatti Step". Czech it out some time.

Hi Ricky, thank you! When playing other chords, say C or D should I look for same intervals as on the G example shown here?

Man this video was so quality, and that pajkansneivhtka hat or whatever is fire. But the reason I liked this video regardless of the fact I like all your videos......is dat room color doe. DAT PAINT DOE! So soothing yet alive. Man you got style that just won't stop And yeah the information is best banjo content on KZbin but I just got distracted is all

haha it says 'Pajakema' which is a model train set named by my friend's father for each of the first syllables of his four sons names, Paul, Jacob, Kevin, and Mark. Pajakema is a city consisting of four towns, Paulsburg, Jacobsville, Kevington, and Marcusport. I love you man

Great lesson. Thanks. First part of that look similar to what Bela plays at Can't Stop Now. Can you and teach transcribe that run also?
@RickyMier3 жыл бұрын
Actually yes, you are the second person to request Can't Stop Now, one my next videos will be of the Can't Stop Now from NGR's last show, that cut in particular is one of my favorites. There is another that I'll have to find that has a burning solo worth transcribing for errbody

I noticed when you showed the song montage you fretted the 5th with the thumb sometimes. How do you decide when to wrap your thumb around and when to use other fingers on the 5th?

Hey Ricky, your videos are great. Thanks for teaching us. Could I please know the name of that groovy background song you have at the beginning? I'd also like to learn it if you have tabs available
@RickyMier Жыл бұрын
Hey thanks Elliot. That song is called Mint 48 off of The New Age Connection album. Unfortunately I don't have that one tabbed out at the moment

@@RickyMier thank you Ricky. If I subscribe to Patreon are the tabs organized so I can easily find the ones which match up to the videos?
@RickyMier Жыл бұрын
@@Elliotofficial Yeah brother. The search bar in Patreon works best, all the tabs are easy to find with that.

First, I am glad to hear you are okay. Secondly, I am relieved you were not driving while picking. I am pretty sure even thinking about the banjo while operating a vehicle constitutes “driving under the influence”. Keep up the good work. :)
