Can the Belize be used to cross the pacific long range?

According to this article, the range extends out to 2433 NM at 6.6kts. The range and speeds are covered comprehensively. The Galapogas to the Marquesas is around 3000NM so technically no, you couldn't 'cross' the Pacific. However, I have heard of several owners of Riviera yachts cruising the Pacific Islands from Australia taking shorter hops.
