@@chuuyassillyfedoraofc! the first line, “what’s with those eyes? ah, of course it’s those eyes. this isn’t my first time, y’know?” referencing ena’s look when mizuki’s secret was revealed by classmate a (a look of shock), one can infer that upon looking at ena, they thought that she was disgusted with them, and ran away. the second line, “what’s with those eyes? c’mon, stop it! it’s just so cute, but that flavor of sin,” probably represents how mizuki believes that being who they are is a ‘sin’. the third line, “it’s off, it’s off, it’s crumbling. it’s off, i’m about to lose my mind.” portrays mizuki’s mental state, hanging by a thread. the fourth line, “i’m collapsing with my own secret, i’m breaking down, i’m sorry.” is rather self-explanatory. the fifth line, which starts the chorus, “without seeing it, you can’t understand it, right? it’s just like a flower of transformation that had bloomed.” refers to how nobody understands what mizuki’s going through, and the “flower of transformation” is mizuki’s secret. the sixth line, “i can’t say anything, but i can’t erase it, no matter how ugly my makeup seems like.” refers to mizuki no longer being able to keep their secret, no matter how ugly their true self is. the next line is a repeat of the fifth, and the eighth line, “i can’t go back to being a bud again.” is about the fact that mizuki’s secret is no longer safe. the ninth line, “what’s with those eyes? ah, of course it’s those eyes. if that’s so, then disappear! everyone, just disappear!” refers to how mizuki is now isolating themself from n25, locking themself in their room or SEKAI. the tenth line, “just disappear! just disappear! just disappear! stay with me.” portrays how mizuki desperately wants ena and the rest of n25 to stay with them after (ena) learning their secret. the eleventh line is, yet again, a repeat of the fifth. here, the key drops, likely referencing mizuki’s lost hope when they found out ena learned their secret. the twelfth line, “if you can’t seem to understand the future, then this flower of transformation will soon disappear.” and i REALLY hope i’m wrong about this, but i think this represents how mizuki wants to disappear and might attempt to as well. the very next, and last, line, “as if i am made to erase the curse of being born, i’ll stop breathing. i’ve had enough.” only further implies it. one detail i noticed is that during the song, mizuki doesn’t sing with a single n25 member, except for KAITO. this is a direct reference to the fact that mizuki’s currently distancing themself from n25, only staying with the virtual singers. conclusion: bake no hana is about mizuki’s inner turmoil and aftermath of mizu5

The real answer is we don't actually know bc SEGA keeps being really vague about it, but there's a lot of signs to prove that Mizuki may be trans and I really hope that's the case. Like nobody even uses pronouns for them 99.9% of the time.
