Amazing band. Really great live and Arem, the bassist, kicks ass. 🤘🤘

No, they're a band band. They formed from the remnants of two others bands (Rolling Girlz and Rose Quartz, hence the name) and in their first two or three years played their asses off in the indie clubs of Seoul before putting out an EP and some singles and getting wider recognition. They have toured the US, by the way, are right now touring Europe, and I'm going to see them TONIGHT here in Berlin. Looking very much forward to it; they are a really, really fun live band (with all that practice) who can get a place to a boil. If there's one thing I would criticize, it is that they should publish more original songs; even after five years, almost half their set is covers.

Ah, enjoy the show - I'm super jelly!

I too am super jelli! The more details I get about em', the more I listen to this and other tunes, the more I really dig the band and that lead singer, the lungs and styles she sings with are right up my alley - love em'!

@@ThrashingCode The concert was great but rather short.

@@oliphant2848 were they opening? I keep seeing opening bands that I specifically go to see and then end up hoping, wishing they'll be a headlining show in the very near future!!!

@@ThrashingCode No, they were the only act. No opening band, just them. Concert was about 65 minutes, I think. Maybe 70.

Thanks for the RQ reaction. I saw them play live in London about a week ago, they were pretty good and fun to watch. It was a sellout concert and the audience had a great time. In addition to their own MVs, they did covers of White Stripes, Paramore, Lady GaGa, Metallica, etc. They seem to have a good team behind them as their official MVs are all high quality, like Holler, Azalea, Good Night, etc., and the credits say the sound is mixed at Abbey Road Studios! If people find out that there’s more to Korea than just K-Pop and they get the younger generation into rock and heavy metal, then that’s a good thing in my book. Thanks from the UK

Thanks for taking the time to do a RQ reaction! These ladies are incredible, and are really starting to gain some global recognition (it's hard for them to get notice in their own country, but I think they're doing a pretty good job there too - especially recently.)

It's a real band. They have many hours of live shows you can check out and most of everything they have release is free on YT.

I've definitely learned since this reaction, didn't know at the time and am loving them now!

Thank you for the Rolling Quartz reaction. I recommend Rolling Quartz's Azalea and Delight. Also, can I request a K-pop reaction here? There are groups in K-pop that have good pop-rock sounds.

Sure, happy to take a request. Can't promise anything, but I'll at least give it a look see! Thanks for joining me for this vid! 🤘🏻

@@ThrashingCode I hope someday you will react to Dreamcatcher's PIRI.

This band struggled for legitimacy in the land of pop ... even being introduced as "K-pop stars" on television shows in their home market. I think people now recognize that they are something different. Much of their initial fanbase was in the US and the EU. We love them here :) .
