The KJV is a good Bible and it's like Shakespeare and shouldn't have been messed with. God's word flowing with beautiful poetry to your soul."loins girt about with truth" touches you and explains exactly what God meant with a eloquent way about it.

I know this world is horrificly evil. Yesterday, near where I live, in Roseville, CA at a local restaurant a woman employee was killed. It could have been me except, for the armor of the Lord. I know that Jesus walks ahead of me and when I feel that small "pull" on me, I know, that something evil is occurring. Jesus has been and is 100 percent correct. As I get ready for bed I thank him for all he does for me; thank you Jesus my Lord and Savior, Amen.

My husband and I have been watching "The Chosen" and we LOVE it; however, I've read many comments that say it's not biblically accurate. Have you found any innacuracies?

@@snaggle1puss Comment about biblical inaccuracies was the cause of me moving away from my faith as a younger man going out into the world and it's influence. Grace brought me back once faced with my responsibility of raising a child in today's world. In the Word comments began with the serpent to Eve and look where that got us. I believe that the Word of God is Perfect and the evil one and man clouds it up in many ways. I am not concerned with inaccuracies judged by man, only that the end result is to help me know the Man Jesus, the continuation of His Charge to faithful believers in spreading Gods Plan to all humanity. If this series brings just one person to Christ its has done it job but we Pray for many! God Bless!

Having the belt of Truth buckled safety and tightly around our waist, how can we understand this so important piece of armor? Jesus says to us, "I am the truth, the way and the life." Does this mean to believe God's Word and obey Him? Are we letting the Word of Christ guide our every step? Having your loins girded is protecting a very tender part of your body! It is when we forget the truth that we become valuable to the attacks of the devil. Cleave to Christ and wrap Him tightly around your waist!! Put on the new man, walk after the Spirit so you will not fulfill the desires of the flesh. Listen to the truth, listen to Christ, hear His Word EVERYDAY before you do anything else!! If you don't get up a little early to spend your first hours with the Lord in prayer and reading God's Word, you are not putting on the belt of truth, much less the whole armor of God! So don't dare to face the enemy without your morning devotions, first of all!! And spend your whole day keeping the truth about God in your heart and thoughts!! Don't forget to end the day with your night devotions!! Spend the day with your Lord!! Find the audio book called, "How to spend the day with God" by Matthew Henry!!
