I am not a Muslim but I have a story back in the mid 1990s my mother lived in an apartment and right above her was a lovely Muslim family and we were all having dinner together on the 4th of July I am American and the husband had some sort of attack and he passed out ends up to be a brain aneurysm and that night he became a paraplegic. This Muslim woman wanted to care for her husband instead of have him live in a home so she brought him home and my mother and I were amazed at all of the Muslim women that came by to cook for the family and bring groceries and clothes and to come and watch the husband, take the children to school, babysit so that she could have a break, there was so much support within the Muslim community especially among the women it really was beautiful. My mother was very close to this woman they had been friends for several years before this happened. The Muslim woman said she didn't even know personally all the the kind women helping her but they were all pulling together when one of them is in need. And my mother said that she had never seen such tender love between a couple in her life this Muslim woman loves her husband so much she would massage his head and pick him up so that he could see everything so he never had to be left out of any of his children's experiences and she was also very impressed by their treatment of each other. The woman was constantly thinking of what here husband might need though her could not talk or communicate in any way. Since that time in the 90s I have always had so much respect for the Muslim faith and community. Love to all...everyone.

Not a Muslim. But recently we have hit hard times and most food banks here are Christian oriented which required a letter from a bishop/pastor/priest to access 🫠 i am not a Christian. I had to drive an hour away but thr Muslim food bank simply asked "how many adults? How many children? How old are the kids? Ok! Here you go!" And handed me a few boxes worth of food and occasionally they offer hot food to take. I was so happy and thankful i volunteered at the islamic center as a way to show my thanks. They are the kindest people i know.

I was raised Christian. I am now 41 and feeling heavily and emotionally pulled towards Islam. Even my husband is willing to look into it with me Praise be to Allah 🙏 Im english and really want to revert. Ive never been Muslim but it feels so right, the way hey cover their heads and take the shoes off...chruitians dont show that level of respect for their Almighty God. I love the way women dress and cover up. I didnt realise of much of muslim life fits in with my own values and beliefs. Why have I been?!! Im so excited to begin my muslim life. Im currently stuck in hospital wih a Staplococus infection having IV antibiotics, Im halfway through my treatment then I can go home. There is a multi-faith room here at the hospital. As they cover their beauty it makes it more important for them to develop their personality, morals and intellect, to be defined by. This makes them pleasant to talk to and hold real conversations around shared values, beliefs and long-term life goals that are also deep and transcend in nature. It prevents ppl getting arrogant and getting a superiority complex based on superficial trates. Keeps ppl down to earth, modesty. Trys to prevent self entitlement and Princess complex. Trys to give women a break from having to compete with each other on just beauty, in open public. That can cause feelings of jealousy. Helps to try to prevent an army of simps and street pestering. Helps to try to prevent insecurities trying to maintain unrealistic and unsustainable beauty standards, that are forever changing and expensive to uphold. You will be able to fast the whole month of ramadan. That should take a few kilos off. Oh! I forgot you are allowed to start pigging out after sunset until sunrise to get you through the following day of fasting. Most muslims put weight on during the wondrous time of ramadan so maybe my idea is not so good for you after all. As to you wearing the muslim dress to hide yourself from the world. Muhammad forced women to cover up to prevent the muslim males from raping them when they saw their uncovered bodies and got all horny. Interesting! What are your thoughts on Muslim men being able to have multiple wives and not requiring wives consent for that, the lack of concept of content to sex within a marriage, where a woman is expected to always be there to satisfy her husband and justification for under aged girls to be sold off to marriage, once they have their first period? Oh, also, what about having to cover up and being unable to even go for a swim or tan in a swimsuit? Lastly, if hijab is about modesty, why is that that slave women are forbidden to wear one and have to remain bare chested according to Quran? Last question is about joining and leaving Islam. Everyone is free to join. What should happen to people that decide to leave Islam? I've seen countless videos and stats, where large percentage of the Muslim majority countries claim that death is the only reasonable punishment. Which is interestingly similar to insulting Mohammed. I'm currently reading the Quran myself..

If you read the entire ayah, Allah says that there are other things that a man must do before dharaba.. the verse after even tells the families from both sides to come together to help mediate both sides to help the couple stay together..

First of all I congratulate you for a new blessing from Allah. This is a blessing from your Allah and at the same time it is a test and training session from your Allah. So in this situation to stay modest I can suggest you can wear a loose dress over your body where you can carry your baby inside it. Also try to stay in your home till the breast feeding is lesser and you can feed your baby other foods as well. Hope I was able to give a good suggestion.

It's fascinating how we're all different as women. What you mentioned as advantages, for me are things I wouldn't be able to accept. I don't like the idea that there are all answears to my questions. I think it's natural for us a human beings not to know things and make a peace with it. this didn't answer many questions for me (of why women would choose Islam over any other religion). Most of the pros you mentioned can be applied to any religion (sense of purpose, answers for every question & guidance, sense of community globally, personal connection to god, etc..). And the for the points that noticeably contradict common beliefs, I think to truly convince people you'd need to provide proper examples or even proof. (- I.e. the claim of women being equal to men, when the opposite is the common belief. (To be fair most ancient religions are lacking gender euqality..) Even the very headscarf you're wearing would be an obvious visible difference between men and woman, no? Are men given the same responsibility for the other gender's thoughts & adequateness - and the religious obligation to cover themselves? - Then the claim of women having rights to divorce, get custody, to study, granted by the Quran. Can you offer proof or examples from history to convince? - Men are allowed multiple wives, women are not allowed multiple men, right? - When talking about the preaching of being kind to *everybody*, despite status, gender, skin color, you never listed "religious beliefs", when it is often portrayed the Quran isn't too fond of "disbelievers". So what gives?) Either way I think every religion will be practiced and interpreted very differently, from group to group, to town, even down to every individual person. So it's hard to make blanket statements obviously, but I'm still curious.

تظهر على وجوههم علامة الفرح والبهجة لأنهم وجدوا الاسلام ووجدوا من خلاله ما يجيب عن كل. تساؤلاتهم ووجدوا الحق فاتبعوه ووجدوه منطقي لا يخالف العقل والمنطق وليس فيه لبس ولا تغيير ولا تحريف ولا تزييف وفيهم من صلى قبل أن يشهد بالشهادة ومنهم من صام رمضان ومنهم بعد إسلامه بقليل من حج البيت الحرام. فلمست قلوبهم وافءدتهم العبادات والقربات وارتاحت نفوسهم واطمانت لحياة الاسلام وشعاءره السمحة وأخلاقه العليا. فتجملوا بالاسلام فزادهم جمال على جمال وصل اللهم وسلم وبارك على رحمة الله للعالمين سيدنا محمد وعلى اله وصحبه اجمعين

Alhamdulillah u hv converted Islam. Hope whover accepts Islam, everybody should other important aspects of life, i.e praying 5 times prayer, reciting Quran and so on. English version of Quran vice versa other..... Other languages n know other important of Islamic way of life - this is also important such as speak always truth n so on. b collected,
