I have lived in Toronto as a boy in the 1960s and 1970s in those days Toronto was much smaller population and very nice place to live crime was low, now its a hell hole, I moved to Vancouver BC in the 1990 because in, 1990 to 2000 Vancouver was a lot like Toronto was in the 60s and 1970s but has now becoming too crowded and real-estate prices have gone from 250,000 in 1990 for standard 3 to 4 bedroom 2000sq foot home to a 1,500,000 million dollar home so yes the real estate has escalated servely in 30 years out here weather is only really good thing here as hardly any snow over winter car no rust in more than 20 years, lots of beautiful beaches and mountains close to Vancouver Island but real estate very expensive, now south eastern and South western Ontario is very beautiful too no mountains but beautiful awesome landscapes and farms you don't see like this in BC however cold weather and lots of snow in Ontario rural communities but lots of farm lands and smaller more affordable real estate, possibly better opportunities for new comers that want to built a future here or start small business or become farmers Ontario has more than you could want, if you like snow there is lots to offer too for adults and children a like you just have to get used to it however if your coming from a country where there is snow then you already adjusted to that, just need to learn how Canada 🍁 works rural country side is better if you move to Canada because you don't have much crime or nonsense you get in big cities its mostly quite and country people are much more hospitable and friendly un like city people. Good places for children as well and because of internet you can access almost any info you need to know. Cheers
