We love .50 Beowulf here in Canada. Our semi-auto rifle mags are pinned to 5 rounds, but you can fit 14 rounds of .223 in a 5 round .50 Beowulf magazine. High capacity mags may be illegal, but there's no law against misusing 5-round mags.

This interests me very much. You could even use different sized engine blocks. Say a small 1.6/2 liter 4 cylinder, a straight 6 cylinder then a big block V8. However, you understand that it would be a task and a half getting one, let alone several engine blocks running outside of a car? In Canada is was about using the Beowolf mag in a .223 Ar and this way you could legally hold 15 rounds of .223 in a 5 rounds 50cal Beowolf mag. Legally its the 5 round mag law but if it can fit its legal but i think they managed to make it illegal now :(

The military was looking for a weapon to be used for stopping the use of vehicles as breaching tools at our embassies in the Middle East. So Alexander Arms developed the .50 Beowulf for this specific use plus the soldier’s don’t have to carry two weapons as the Beowulf upper will fit the M4 lower. So they can change out uppers disable the threat and switch back to 5.56 for defense purposes all in a relatively short period of time.

Hey Matt, long time viewer here, keep it up! I know that you like shooting stuff with your 50, so why don't you try shooting some alon glass, they say that 1.6 inch of it stops a 50 caliber! More info about it: the Alon is Aluminium Oxynitride, it's not as metallic as you would think, it's more of a clear ceramic-like glass. Good luck!

Then BAM!!!! Another loud noise, it came from downstairs, someone is trying to kick down your front door, you've waited for this your entire life and now you're ready. You open up your gun safe, grab your tactical vest, 4 pouches with 6 magazines of 50 Beowulf, each magazine with 7 rounds in it, and you grab your rifle, cocked, locked, and ready to go. You carefully make your way downstairs as the last bang brings down the door, you train your weapon towards the door and you can see three poor misguided souls about to be undone by the wrath of the English hero of ancient legends. You fire your first shot, then everything goes white. You wake up some time later inside your living room surrounded by paramedics, with your living room looking like it had just survived a hurricane, furniture is flipped over, windows have been shattered, the flatscreen TV is contorted in a weird shape that doesn't make geometrical sense. Once again you come to your senses and realize that you probably killed someone, so you look towards the front door of the house and the only evidence that remains of the assailants are their shadows burned into the ground, as if they had witnessed a nuclear detonation. The 50 Beowulf projectile you've fired went through 6 houses before stopping. You have a boner now. Oh, btw, you're deaf in one ear and tinnitus on the other one for the rest of your life.
